Why Essex Police framed Jeremy Bamber
« on: March 15, 2011, 08:15:PM »
Is there a simple answer to why the police doctored statements, hid evidence and assisted witnesses?
What caused them to change direction from thinking Sheila did it to being determined to get Jeremy at any cost?

Just to be clear, I'm asking for the conspiracy theory, not for the version of their change of heart we all already know.

hi slaters :)

the police bungled the raid on whf farm at 7.35am, (by the way im on the fence, havent made my mind up yet)

thinking sheila dead they declared the house safe at 8.10am

but this is how the conspiracy theory goes, sheila wasnt dead, just stunned from the first shot.

she managed to get up stairs and shoot herself a 2nd time, while the police were in the farmhouse.

thats what they are trying to cover up.

the fact that she was able to shoot herself a 2nd time while the police were there in the farmhouse, on entry they apparently found 1 dead male 1 dead female on entry to the kitchen, but sheila is just knocked out by the first shot, manages to get upstairs and kill herself with the 2nd shot.

repeated my self there!! apologies ive just finished work ;)

There has been an allegation that Robert Boutflour indulged in a spot of blackmail. That is, however, pure speculation on Mike's part.  ;D

Thanks Andrea for trying.

So the police botched the raid because they failed to immediately arrest or disarm Sheila?
They feared being embarrassed by the armed officers' actions so senior officers concocted or concealed evidence to frame an innocent man?

Rather than a few frontline officers facing criticism for shoddy surveillance a decision was taken at a senior level to accept the risk involved in a widespread conspiracy.

But this decision was taken about a month after the raid.

after the family had found the silencer, that was the main piece of evidence, along with julie mugford being dumped by jeremy then going to the police to spill the beans  :)

So having botched it, they really wanted to make sure 'suicide' was the verdict for Sheila
But THEN

The pesky family decided THEY wanted to get in on the contagious bout of lying and discovered a silencer with blood on.. that put Jeremy in the frame.

The police abandoned their scam and jumped onboard the MURDER train then. Undoing their suicide and backing the murder horse, ridden by Ann Eaton and trained by the rest of the family.

With the bit between their teeth, then rounded up some pathologist too, and rode to the OK Court.

Julie Mugford (promising actress) auditioned for the role as Cowgirl with a screen test in the dock, where she was nominated for an Oscar winning performance with her 'Tales Of The Expected' by J.R. Mee-Dunnit

It's a classic you know.
