She could then have been lead into the bedroom half asleep. Then pounced on.

She checked on the twins, who were both sleeping. She then went into her parents bedroom, seeing a dead June.

Jeremy returns upstairs, holding a loaded rifle. Sheila cowers into the corner, where she was found. Petrified.

Adam, I'm sorry to have to rain on your parade,but forensics don't tally with your 'scenario'. They don't agree that Nevill was shot on the stairs. They believe he sustained his four head shots in the kitchen and that one of the bullet cases got caught on the underside of an officers boot and ended up on the stairs.

So Neville got shot four times in the torso upstairs, but not shot on the stairs as he tried to flea. Although a cartridge was found on the stairs.
