It happens to be 10 minutes if it's correct that Pc Saxby was contacted at 3:30am and the three officers notified their departure to Bonnett at 3:35am.
Those 10 minutes matter to the defense for 1 reason- because it would mean 10 additional minutes during which Jeremy neither called police nor made any other effort to go help his family which calls into doubt even more having received any plea for help.
The defense saw things as the prosecution trying to essentially pull a fast one by stretching out how long it took for Jeremy to finally call police by stressing the 3:36 times and the 2:26 time being in a document where the Jury might not even notice it.
So that is why the defense went to the effort it did to make sure they disputed the 3:36 time.
We find ourselves in the complete opposite position. Those who feel Jeremy is guilty fully accept that Jeremy called West prior to 3:26 and that 3:26 is when West called Bonnett. We have no problem accepting that defense claim because it is supported by evidence and logic. You are the one trying to pretend Jeremy called at 3:36 so you can pretend the 2 logs refer to different calls.
That is the state of the situation at this moment.
