I got a new lap top last week.  Beware of Windows 8 its different from previous o.s and takes a bit of getting used to.

Hi N/N  funny you should say that but the guy who has been to this one said whatever you do don't get Windows 8 get 7 and avoid what you have now Vista :)

Now that Windows 8 has been upgraded to Windows 8.1, it's brilliant, whether you have a touch screen or not.
The trouble with 8 was the input if you didn't have a touch screen, but the start button and boot to desktop have returned in 8.1 and I love it.  :)

I had windows 8 Susie and got quite used to it though at first it was weird.  Now I have windows 7 again as have given my other laptop to my daughter and I want windows 8 back.  :'( ;D ;D

No Bits  a little behind in The Highlands and wont have Windows 8.1 yet will stick to Vista till it comes my way ;D  By that time you will have Windows 8.2 ;D ;D ;D

I need a new lappy  :'(  My screen has packed up and I am plugged into a monitor and my keyboard is about to pack up. Lost my enter key and my space bar last night, but its back today :)  So if I disappear its because my lappy has broken.... :-[ ;D ;D ;D ;D
