If the silencer was not found by the relatives until 10th August 1985, and DS Jones was not handed it by Peter Eaton until 10:30pm on evening of 12th, how the hell could DS Jones and DCI Jones be questioning Jeremy Bamber about it (silencer) when they visited Jeremy at his cottage at 9 head street on 9th August...

There was obviously more than one silencer...

A fact known about by Essex police, COLP, and the DPP / CPS...

The lot of them are crooks...

Yet when the crook DS Jones provides a witness statement to DS Young (COLP), dated,  16th October 1991, he says there was only ever one silencer connected with the Bamber investigation. But if that were true, how could he and DCI Jones have known about the silencer to enable them to speak to Jeremy about it on 9th August, three days brfore Peter Eaton allegedly hands over the silencer to DS Jones...

Basically, DS Jones is a compulsive liar and an evil despicable criminal...

Strange you should post all that Mike because I spent most of the evening last night looking at Jones's  statement and what struck me was this.

When Jones was being examined in court the tells the court that there were blood on the knurled end of the silencer and attached to that was a grey hair measuring 3/4 inch.

He also states that there were paint embedded deep into the knurl and that this was reddy brown in colour.  In cross examination I am sure the conclusion was that the paint did match the colour of the Aga...

What strikes me is that we have no lab report on the blood on the knurl of the silencer, the hair was lost, the paint did not match....

Also, we have a phone call from the family telling the police they have found a silencer on the 10th and Jones arrives ALONE with NO forensic bag or box to pick the silencer up....

I shake my head in disbelief.... :o :o :) :) :)

Its gross misconduct at the worse kind....Here we have a silencer....this silencer was a key point at trial, yer was taken from a crime scene, handled by relative, one copper went and fetched it on his own, no forensic bag, gets pissed, drives home....lol You could not make it up...

Jones drinks and drives as copper he even admitted to doing so in court....Yet this silencer is allowed in court as a vital piece of evidence and the only bloody thing that convicts Jeremy.....You couldn't make it up.....Tyler I love you style... ;D ;D ;D ;D

I's unbelievable tyler/Patti.  Must say when this is all sorted (which I hope it will be before too many years) it will make the most unbelievable film, it really does have everything, even down to the alcoholic detective, you couldn't make it up ................. but unfortunately they did.  >:(

It's beginning to look like all three silencers were juggled, with a bit of all kinds of substance/material attached to them, until there was a clear mix-up,,which eventually morphed into just one.

Due to the botched investigation alone Jeremy should have got off. Didn't even tape off the crime scene, let the world and his wife wander round the house, moved things around including the victims. Stan Jones took exhibits home with him. And EP all patted themselves on the backs at an after party to celebrate JB's conviction! Makes me sick!

In AE statement, she says that when she, DB and AP went to the police with their suspicions about Jeremy on the 9th Aug, they mentioned the silencer in that discussion. it was after that that T. Jones and S. Jones went off to question Jeremy about the silencer. They then said they discovered the the silencer the following day. I know it's all pretty 'convenient' and that silencer was the forensic equivalent of fly paper!!

The silencer supposedly found by David Boutflour on 10th August 1985, never came into the possession of DCI Jones - the only persons who had involvement with the Boutflour silencer were the relatives, DS Jones, PI Miller, DI Cook, Glynis Howard, John Hayward and Malcolm Fletcher...

Yet...

What about the silencer kept by Taff Jones on his desk, seized by PC Whiddon, sent to the lab' to be checked for blood and fibers, and fingerprinted by DS Davidson and his side kick on 14th September 1985...

The Boutflour silencer, and the Taff Jones one were not the same silencer...

tyler makes me double sick the whole investigation was a total farce and if it was not so serious for poor Jeremy it would be laughable :'( how can these individuals live with themselves.
