Now doesn't this ring a few bells??

The following comment is exactly the same kind of thing that was said about Sheila!!

"She was lovely, innocent, caring and kind but seemed vulnerable and lost. I think she was frightened of her future as a single mum, but you'd never guess she'd do this. They were lovely boys."

What a tragedy, another one.  She loved her boys and killed them to protect them just as so many mothers would if they couldn't see any other way out, just the way Sheila did imo.  However horrific these things sound it's all about love and protection in the mind of the mother.

Hi Maggie,,chances are that the girl didn't want social services taking the children,,nor the father of the children,,so like poor Sheila,,nobody was having them.

Maggie, may I just remind you that according to Steve, Sheila had no reason to take such a drastic step. He certainly believes that she was happy in her relationship with Colin and everything in her life was hunky dorey.

Hello N/N  nice to see you back we have missed you.  I dare you to ask him ;D ;D ;D if he is too young don't bother with him he will be a pain in the bum ;D ;D ;D ;D Must be 40 plus. ;D

Morning Susan

I've missed the forum too!  It seems pretty quiet of late.

Who dares wins ;).  Ok first off he politely declined my offer of a cherry tomato but then when I pointed out  they were vine ripened he grinned and accepted.  He's 21 yoa and studying physics at Durham and currently home with his parents.  He seemed a very nice young man.  There's life in the old dog yet  ;D ;D ;D.

Hi Susan

Do we know if JB has contributed to the pending book?  Or is even aware of it's imminent release?

Body beautiful from the gym pool has seen me in my bikini (and stayed to savour my cherry toms so I can't be that bad  ;)) but not my habit...yet!   Older men are too hairy.  I'm not sure if younger guys are just less hairy or they're prepared to spend time and money on body grooming?   :)

The thought of seeing middle aged, flabby, hairy shirtless men walking around in warm weather is not a nice thought  :'(

Hi N/N  As far as I am aware JB has contributed to Mason Doyle's book and I think we will all find the book of great interest ;D

As far as men go when I was 26 I dated a 19 year old hippy and became very bored with him as he was just a boy!!!!!  I think ideally a female should date a guy at least 10 years her senior as we mature so much more quickly and it takes about 10 years for a male to catch up.  Don't like flab but quite partial to hairy men as they are the real thing hate men who file their nails and groom themselves to perfection ;D ;D ;D ;D as they think anyway ;D ;D ;D  people on the forum will think me and you are man mad but guess we are ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Susan, as you know, M was 15 yrs my senior but he never knew what it was to experience OLD age. He was only ever MIDDLE aged, however as I'm now 16 years older than when we first met I feel it would be unreasonable to think that a similar age gap would be appropriate! ;D!! I did once have a boyfriend 8 yrs younger than I, but frankly, he was a pain in the proverbials and it's not an experience I'd care to repeat. perhaps I'm better off admiring from a safe remove ;D ;D

Hello april that is a good age gap between you and M as he would have been quite mature.  Men can be such babies especially the ones around 30 forget them and go for 40 plus I speak from experience  don't even look at the boys leave them for the wee girlies ;D ;D ;D ;D I am going to be so popular on here :'( not sure what age PB is but he is OK as we have so much in common ;D ;D ;D ;D  My final word is play the field and stay single ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
