The potential certainly was there April. The doctors knew Sheila was not good at taking her meds, they knew her Haloperidol had been cut way down recently.  No warning, no support to anyone......5 people dead. 
It stinks imo and I believe if Nevill had survived, poor man or anyone else had bothered to question Sheila's treatment, there would have been a court case about this.imo

Maggie,,you know as well as anyone else that schizophrenics are a problem when it comes to taking their medication.
It's obviously at the time they don't,,that the danger happens,,and it's no different in this case,except that those in charge weren't so conversant of the consequences as in present days,,even though research still isn't as it should be.

It is very strange, that none of the relatives seemed remotely interested in what June told Pamela over the telephone on the evening prior to the shootings - that "Sheila was behaving oddly"...

Like June Bamber said to Pamela - "Sheila had been / was behaving oddly", so oddly in fact, that June failed to attend bible class that same evening, no doubt frightened and worried to leave the two young boys alone with their deranged mother...

..yet Sheila was tired and going up to bed,certainly not energized to become Linda Carter Wonderwoman by two o' clock in the morning.

It's a possibility that Jeremy was bouncing ideas off Julie,but Julie had no part in what was germinating inside Jeremy's evil head. After the murders Jeremy told Julie over dinner at Blalzer's restaurant Blackheath: "You mustn't blame yourself..I would have gone ahead with it anyway.."

Despite what Jeremy is supposed to have said, that she remained silent makes her complicit and suggests the giving of encouragement and permission.

Jeremy was jealous of Nicholas and Daniel,they were rivals for his parents' affections who had starved him of love as a child and who resented the hugs and attention they were getting from their grandparents. In the forefront of Jeremy's mind was the whittling away of his inheritance through Sheila's share,her possible debts and reincarceration in St. Andrews' and Nevill and June's potential plans to provide a public school education for them with the concomitant extortionate school fees.

Hi steve I posted a few days ago of someone I know who is a diagnosed schizophrenic who had stopped her meds because she was 'fine' . She said she was going for a bath and drowned herself only being found just in time she hadn't shown any sign of imminent suicide. Schizophrenia is unpredictable with moods changing in a moment......poor Sheila.

Certainly not Nevill's who had worked all hours God sent and even found time to read Nicholas and Daniel Little Red Hen and talk to Sheila for hours at the other end of a telephone line. The apathetical June going through the motions of existence those final few months,writing out the codicil letter and possibly receiving a black eye from Jeremy after she refused point blank to write him out any more personal cheques.

Steve, you're wandering off into la-la land. So Nevill read to his grandsons, big deal. They weren't there full time so he couldn't have done it that frequently, unless he did it over the phone. Working all the hours God sends and talking to Sheila for hours on the phone don't exactly correlate, either. You continue to speak as if they were old people. They were in their very early 60s and whilst I wouldn't suggest that they would have wanted the twins full time, the few visits they made should have been a joy to them.

You dont know any of that as fact Steve. You first decided Jeremy did it and then decided why.  There is absolutely no proof Jeremy was jealous of the twins.

WHAT loves and hugs, Steve? The pictures those boy drew suggest nothing of love and hugs. I DO appreciate that they would probably have drawn others but none were presented to show how much they loved their visits to their grandparents. As for the rest, your opinions aren't facts.

Jeremy had told Liz Rimington what spoilt brats they were. It was through Nicholas and Daniel's childrearing experiences that Jeremy finally realized what he had missed out on.

Maggie,,a stark reminder of Eddie Gilfoyles' late wife,who I attended to in the last week/s of her pregnancy.A lovely looking woman,,beautifully dressed and healthy to boot. A week later,,she had hanged herself. No indication whatsoever and looking forward to the birth of their first child. It was tragic.
Eddie was imprisoned for 18 years her " murder ". His case was full of holes.!

You ask for evidence from others but never provide any yourself. June stated that it was Sheila she was worried about NOT Jeremy and had he just blacked her eye, I think she might have caused for concern!!!!

Jeremy saw his life stretching out before him,tied to the Farm until his parents' death,beholden to the trustees who would snoop on his every move as a farmer..Jeremy had played the equality card with Sheila and had wangled money out of his parents for foreign trips building up a debt with Nevill which had to be repaid. And here are two new faces,a growing threat to his position and his inheritance. Asked to give the boys rides on the tractor by his parents he grudgingly does so,yet resents every furrowed furlong as he perceives Sheila has all the pleasure without any of the responsibility..

But other than a few soundbites taken out of context, the words of a man who admitted to detesting his nephew and the words of a jilted, thieving, gold digging woman who went on to prove she was willing to to anything to get her hands on money, there is NOTHING to say that he was planning anything.
