That's the way I see it too,Susan. I can fully understand Mikes' frustration when " the establishment " have you up against the wall. It's their pathetic course of action in dealing with something that they're not altogether fully conversant with.

Hi Mike
Temple QC would have been entitled to refuse to accept instructions in the Bamber appeal if he considered himself to have a conflict of interest. It all depends upon what you informed him about the Bamber case and, of course, whether he remembered what you had told him.
 A passing comment or two made by you to Temple QC would hardly qualify as having placed him in a conflict of interest.
