I saw Edwina, on the news today Ralph.  Shameful really Edwina Currie has nothing to be proud of but she likes to be seen as Margaret's friend......I would think Mrs Thatcher barely knew who she was. All those promises about cheap fuel etc. haha, that was a good joke, ever been conned?
The problem I have with Edwina Currie is her name. Whenever I hear it I feel like nipping out to get an Indian.

I agree. The dancing in the streets was sick in my opinion. We should never glory in the death of anyone.

the dancing in the streets stuff was maybe a bit over the top on reflection.

I think it is horrible that people were dancing in the street, but it makes you think. People don´t do such a thing every day! Her impact on some (many) peoples´ lives must have been horrendous to prompt such a reaction.

For myself Lugg, i feel neither joy or sorrow over her passing away, however im a stonethrow from South Yorkshire , she ethnic cleansed the miners, wounds between families that carry on to this day, many a person there will shed no sorrow many who can afford it will be sloshed out their skull, as a warning to Labour shut up pal, you know nowt about the nation on £65.000 salary a year i dont expect you to, let people decide for themselves how to react.

The poll tax resulted in civil unrest , i can see those days coming back, Thatcher hated working class people , i can see cheers in the streets on her funeral day ,  part and parcel of a free society.

Well I'm not exactly sad about her passing. I feel like Mertol in fact. But I can see the bitterness that she caused.
