I must say with hand on heart, I felt for PB...Out of all the statements I had read, I found her to be honest and fair...Sometimes, you have a gut feeling about someone.. :) :) :) :)
I agree Patti and Alias.

Another one who'll take her secrets to the grave,Maggie. So sad a life for Pamela.I imagine that June did confide in her, latterly,,,hence her concern about Jeremy that time.
I bet she knows some stuff...sisters talk but in that family whatever June told in confidence would remain in confidence, unless she knew enough to free Jeremy.

Well she must be very old now lookout but she was the person who lost the most, apart from Jeremy.  She has never spoken for some reason. Either because she didn't want to or wasn't able to.  It must have been very hard for Pamela to lose her sister in such a way.  I just wonder how much she knew about Sheila's ilness, June wanted her advice about Sheila so I feel those sisters may have shared a lot which has never been told.

Maggie, I feel that if Pam had known about Sheila's illness, she may not have been entirely sympathetic. I say this because of Ann's attitude to Sheila which seemed to be less than caring. I do wonder if Sheila's condition was deteriorating so rapidly that June had nowhere to turn, other than her sister OR it was a spur of the moment decision she took during that last call because she was tired from caring for her grandchildren and getting no support from Sheila.

Well I dont know. Daughters can be like their mother or their father. According to mike Pamela and Jeremy were quite close and Pamela was concerned for Jeremy eventhough he was convicted of murdering her sister so she had a kind heart. Imo

Exactly, that is what I was saying. She may very well have found it difficult or been dissuaded from expressing her doubts.imo

Pamela did know that Sheila was ill,but I don't think that she knew exactly HOW ill she was.As far as I am aware,Pamela does believe that Jeremy is guilty, but whether this is because her late husband convinced her,who knows. However,I have never read or heard of her badmouthing Jeremy. She certainly didn't back up her husbands claim that June had supposedly told her that she had caught Jeremy showing Sheila how to load a gun!
