I've asked this before but nobody has come up with a good reason. Stan Jones said in one of his statement that the farm was returned to the possession of Ann Eaton on the evening of 9th August. Why was that? She was Pam's niece, she didn't live there, so why would she have the keys?
Why did Jeremy not object to that?

Jeremy was under sedation, I think doctor prescribed him Valium, or something like that...
Valium doesn't make you incapable though.
Was Ann some kind of trustee or something?

I honestly don't know the answer to that question, I have never bothered to ask Jeremy about that in all the time I have known him, so sorry...
No problem. I think it's odd though. Considering that he was supposed to have killed his family and been laughing and joking about it, he can't have been too drugged up on valium to look after the keys. If he did it, you'd think he'd object to his cousin having the keys wouldn't you, particularly as she went poking around the very next day.

When Jeremy found out that the relatives were taking everything out of the farm, including the guns and everything, he went over to Ann Eatons house and demanded everything be handed back. It was at this stage that Jeremy was given his .22 air rifle back, and a shotgun, but not the silencer. If Jeremy had known that the relatives had also taken the silencer by that stage, he would have asked for that back, as well, I suppose...
Reason the relatives did not hand the silencer back on that occasion, was because they had not found it, or removed it from whf by that stage 0- it was not until Jeremy was locked up and in custody on 11th September 1985, that the relatives went back to whf and took possession of the silencer and other items from the gun cupboard...
