It took me seven minutes to travel this route from 9 Head Street, Goldhanger, to Pages lane WHF, and on the night in question (7th August 1985) Jeremy travelled the same route in five minutes - how can anyone suggest that he took his time in getting to the scene, after police told him to go there immediately. He travelled the same route two whole minutes faster than I did in the trial journey...
Jeremy must have been speeding at some stage of his journey to get to whf in five minutes, even though he had to slow down, when the police car (CA07) with flashing lights hurtled along the Tollesbury road behind him, which caused him to slow down, until they had overtaken him)...
Who wouldn't slow down with a police car with lights flashing hurtling along the road in the middle of the night, behind you?
Get the facts right, compare the journey I took in trial conditions, against the journey Jeremy took in a real life situation...
