Hi Tyler
Well, I'm afraid that I consider you to be in the minority
Could you explain your thought process please?
Jim
Maybe I could if it was actually me that had written the post that you are responding to  ;)

This sounds as if it's a situation you have to have been in, in order to understand.
Exactly! And I think a lot of it boils down to whether you are brave.........or not!

Jim,,,because there are a few who say that Jeremy is a " psychopath ",,his behaviour would have reflected that by pretending to be first in on the act ,by speeding to WHF and  ( knowing he'd murdered )acting as though there was something he could do,,thus putting the police off the scent.
I'd never trust those who " help police with their inquiries ". Huntley was an example of that.

Hi april I think you are correct. I had a slightly similar situation couple of years ago. A close family member called me in the night and the police had already been called. Instead of rushing I moved quite slowly and carefully and while driving the 5 miles at 2am on deserted roads I was deliberately careful very aware I didnt want to have an accident, needed to get there in one piece....dont think I did really want to get there at all.

Hi Tyler and April
Do you agree that if JB concluded his telephone call(s) by 03.37 but didn't arrive at WHF until some 15 minutes later, it follows that JB must have dilly dallied in travelling that relatively short distance of about 3 or 4 miles?

If Jeremy was a psychopath,he would be in Broadmoor (or such a place). The CCRC would no doubt have used it against him too, when turning down his applications.I am told that being in prison is like being in a pressure cooker, and if Jeremy was indeed a psychopath,he would not have been able to deceive all of the professionals for 27 whole years!

Well, please assume that he concluded his telephone call(s) at 03.37, do you accept that it took JB a long time to reach WHF?
Why should I assume he concluded his call at 3.37?

Been there Jim. I have no problem with the tardiness. Let the professionals get there first and do what they are trained to do calmly and efficiantly.

Yes,Tyler,,it would certainly have showed within the 27 years. He's no psychopath.

To what purpose?

Hi Lugg
I'm not asking you to accept the accuracy of these timings, I'm simply interested to learn your views upon a hypothetical situation.
Having said that, the evidence at the Trial was that JB made his telephone call at 03.26, Mike tells us that the call(s) lasted for 11 minutes and that JB arrived at WHF  at 03.52.
That would mean that it took JB some 15 minutes from the moment he concluded his telephone calls to arriving at WHF some 3 or 4 miles away
Do you accept that that is a long time?

Lets say the call ended at 3:37

Police arrive on scene at 3:48

Jeremy arrives at 3:50

Police pass Jeremy on route.

Jeremy had to get dressed, he may have called Julie too...We have to being this into the equation as a possibility.

He had 13 minutes not 15....

It takes about 8 minutes to get there by car driving within the speed limits.  So it could have took him 5 minutes to get dressed, get his keys and off....

Jeremy did ask to be picked up, but he was told to meet them on site.

That's all I can add.... :) :) :)

How do you know what time he arrived at WHF?
