I wonder could you show us where you got that information from Jim? I haven't heard that before.
Hello Lugg
Take a look at Pa. 7 of the Court of Appeal judgment
Lugg, on the assumption that JB made his telephone call at 03.26, do you agree that, putting the matter as neutrally as possible, [color-red]it is surprising that it took him so long to reach WHF in his motor car?[/color]
Thank you Jim. Well if what Mike says is correct then I can fully understand why he took some time to reach the farm. But equally so that the police took so long.

Hi Lugg
Is there any chance of you answering my question, please?

Hi Mike
I'll repeat the question
On the assumption that JB made his telephone call at 03.26, do you accept that, putting the matter as neutrally as possible, it took JB a long time to reach WHF in his motor car?
Well if the call finished at 3.47 then it took him 5 minutes.

Hi Lugg
Please assume that the telephone call was made at 03.26 and that it lasted 11 minutes (I'm prepared, for the purpose of the question to assume that it did last 11 minutes), do you accept that it took a long time for JB to reach WHF?

Well seeing that the police told him to wait for them, then no it didn't. Also the calls may have lasted much longer in that he made two phone calls to the police and then was put on hold.

Contrary to what others say,if my father telephoned me to tell me that my schizophrenic sister had hold of a gun and was going berserk,I really do not think that I would be in such a hurry to get there either! Be realistic! Jeremy was obviously scared and what could he have done if he had rushed there? Been yet another casualty? I know that I too, would have waited for the police to get there first.

Well, I'm 100 % certain that if I had been the recipient of that telephone call but I had been told by the Police not to approach WHF, I would have driven like a bat out of hell to the vicinity of WHF, parked up out of sight of WHF and awaited the arrival of the Police

Why? What would arriving before the police achieve,if you wasn't actually rushing to your father's aid?

Hello Jim,,,I'm afraid Jeremy was damned if he did,and damned if he didn't. Had he hurtled to WHF,,then people like myself would have been suspicious.

Tyler, I have said previously that my mother used to phone me around 3am to say my father was having a fit. I would phone the emergency services and deliberately take my time in getting there partly because I was scared and partly because I felt helpless because I couldn't do anything.

Hi Lookout
Well, I'm afraid that I consider you to be in the minority
Could you explain your thought process please?

This sounds as if it's a situation you have to have been in, in order to understand.
