Decker remembered that Jeremy said, he would be hard pushed to raise £600 - a fact known about by police on 21st November, 1985...

Essex police hid this evidence from the Jury, and Bambers defence...

if Jeremy was running low on money then perhaps another reason to speed up his inheritence

do you know the reason why ?  assuming that the best claim JB had for his defence was that he didnt need the money.  this suggests that he did indeed need money

The second part may provide the answer perhaps BG you can campaign to release it to bolster your thoughts.

you sure about that Mike , seems more plausible to me that Bambers own defence team wouldnt have wanted the jury to know he was short of money... his own claim would be that he didnt need money ergo had no need to murder his family

Was just thinking similar way myself Mertol. I mean next time I am short of 600 quid I know what to do...find some rich rellie and risk death or prison or indeed a living death makes sense to any well balanced person. Remembering of course that the many pschological tests have found Jeremy more well balance than the average person.

i might be stabbing in the dark here but i sense the reason this is being witheld could be a defemation of Mr Deckers character ,  as a Citroen 'nut' he would have wanted to buy the car but not having enough money himself had sniffed money on JB.

as far as i can see JB's only interest in Citroens was to get his hands on his fathers car

BG as far as I can see Decker claimed he 'got the impression' Jeremy was short of funds. That is hardly proof of anything imo Maybe Jeremy didnt want the car when he saw it?

impression or not this would really have only helped the police by proving he had a reason to need money. still cant see why they would withold it
