Caroline,,I'm assuming that the area was carpeted and not outside on concrete.

Do we even know if he was dropped?

Nevertheless it's my belief that the excitement and psychosis brought about by cocaine and heavy cannabis use as described by Julie were responsible for this crime, and strange that Jeremy has rejected any kind of X-ray head examination.
Whose heavy cannabis and cocaine use steve?  Because I believe that describes Sheila as well, only difference being that she was also a paranoid schizophrenic who had cut down her medication.  I might add you don't recover from a psychotic episode, just like that.  If Jeremy was in a state of psychosis, he certainly managed to recover from it in a most amazing way.  Doesn't wash steve ;D

It depends what was meant by 'dropped'.  Most Mums manage to bang their baby's heads at some time no matter how careful they are.  No doubt something may have happened and June as a worried mum consulted her doctor in the normal way, was probably nothing more.

Didn't it later cause him to fail a diving medical?

It did indeed Bridget, and one more marker in Jeremy's mind that his mother in particular owed him a living. But Nevill put his foot down upon Jeremy's return from the Antipodes and Jeremy went along with their plans for him for a time, yet how could anyone have possibly reckoned on the evil scheme harbouring in Jeremy's mind each time he set foot on a sod of Essex soil.

Well, he did fail it on those grounds but I guess his skull might have been damaged at any point. I've had mine cracked twice (explains a lot I know  ;D).

Sheila admitted to "frequent use" of cocaine, socially, to Dr Ferguson who said that the slow onset of psychosis didn't bode well.

You aren't qualified to make such a sweeping statement. That's a ridiculous claim!!

Sorry lookout!! You are qualified - I must be seeing thing, I thought someone else had said that  ;D ;D ;D ;D
Personally I wouldn't dare to speculate as Steve obviously feels comfortable with. There are just too many variables to make such claims as he does.

Hi lookout, many people have smoked the old style cannabis, still the common cannabis of the mid 80s for much longer than Jeremy Bamber had with absolutely no ill effects.
It's the hybrid strains of home grown cannabis introduced to the market long after 1985 which are the culprits of brain damage and psychosis, this is now the common cannabis sold on the streets.

Yes,Maggie,,,the " old style " cannabis was even given on prescription by two GP's that I knew,,,less harmful than tobacco and as a painkiller for joint pain. It was quite harmless in comparison to the stuff nowadays.

Do you know, if I was ever going to design software intended to irritate the hell out of JB supporters you would be the perfect prototype. You are the literary equivalent of a Terminator - relentless ;)

Steve will undoubtedly refer to it as a balance of probabilities, Caroline :)

That would be a fail because of the pressures exerted upon the body in general. The skull is one of the most vulnerable places and can be affected by the helium if the diver came up quickly. The failure had nothing to do with his mental state. Honestly the things that are put forward on this forum in order to disadvantage JB at every turn. Un believable. ::) :(

Yes Bridget, it seems he failed the medical so can only deduce there was a slight depression in his skull which would be too much of a risk due to the pressure changes when diving.  Must have been something anatomical.  Certainly nothing too serious because he was able to fly and certainly cannot imagine it would make him into a murderer.....that's too far fetched, steve imo
