What the 'questionable activities' JB was invovled in whilst in New Zealand and Australia ?

And why he needed a relatively prompt exit from either country ?

Whatever it was,if authentic,it had no relevance to the murder case.

It might have , if JB staged the break-in at the caravan site then maybe it eludes to his ability to act and elaborate crime scenes

RB even paid a private detective to find out, but I don't believe there's any solid evidence, just that he needed to get out quick. He asked his parents to send cash, but I believe they refused and sent a ticket.

I don't think so,bg. A foreign country,an act of bravado along with his friend. Nothing more. It doesn't make him out to be a criminal, nor a murderer. It was a foolish and immature prank,,,to which,if it had been serious enough, the police would have met them at the airport before flying off.

Hi lookout  I think Jeremy and Julie were a pair of rascals and did behave very badly but to me this does not make him a cold hearted killer :(

Hi Susan,,,indeed it doesn't. Most of these " school-boy pranks " are over and forgotten as they get older and are very much regretted by most,,,and it shouldn't always set a precedent that such behaviour will continue into the future. Give a dog a bad name shouldn't always follow.

Hi bg if you read wikipedia it has this to say After school, Bamber managed to persuade his father to finance a trip to Australia and New Zealand, where Nevill paid for him to do a scuba diving course. While in New Zealand, he reportedly broke into a jewellery shop and stole two expensive watches, one of which he gave to a girlfriend back in England. He also boasted, according to Powell, that he had been involved in smuggling heroin overseas. One of his cousins later said Bamber ended up leaving New Zealand in a hurry, because friends of his had been involved in an armed robbery.

seems to me the makings of a career criminal here , some may think it nothing more than 'schoolboy pranks' but many serial killers have had the same early life as this

The suggestion to my mind at least is just to show him in a very bad light and rotton all through. The blacker you paint a person's character the more people will say he was capable of the murders. Very carefully calculated I'd say. But to suggest any such wrong doing by the relatives then along come their knights in shining armour to defend them. ;)

Well do you think it is in his genes and therefore stems from his natural parents? Or was it his parent's fault for brining him up wrong? But obviously it was because he was not of the bloodline of that family.

Doesn't apply to her. Because she sold her story to the press for 24'000 quid and was able to go to a posh school and make a new career for herself and become a respectable teacher wasn't she?
