The simple truth

Once you rule out SC as being a suicide/murder then that only leaves a 5 victim murder by a 3rd party

thats not the simple part

The problem with the 3rd party scenario is that they would have to get in and out of the house undetected....The latter also applies to Jeremy.  Unless of course someone got in, hid in the loft, left by the skylark and climbed down the drain pipe...and was later seen in the lane... :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

What about the bolts? they were closed from the inside. Not sure about the front door though?  :) :) :) :)

As stated earlier......entry could have been gained earlier in the day (whist the others where outside) and one sits and waits.......

Bolts were not used during the day as people came and went.

There were no bolts on the rear door.RWB made this observation whilst looking at the broken door in the garage (where EP had stored it).It was, apparantly, locked from the inside with the key.

Okay to a point, i feel the dogs would have sensed something by barking.

both good points well made, however, what if he/she waited outside of the immediate part of the house?

Also, I have no idea how their dog would have reacted as I do recall there being lots of people coming to and fro......throughout the year - so, how would it react to just one more person, as on any given day?

Talking of the dog, I do recall Jeremy and I discussing the dog being found in the wardrobe.......Jeremy heard the dog barking madly from outside, however, he could not fatham out who put the dog in the wardrobe, where he says it was discovered.........and he was there that night!!!  Surely the info on the dog was right......

This case could be closed tonight if we had the video footage, the dog would have barked every time jeremy was mentioned .

From what I have researched the door was bolted from the inside. DS Jones made reference to this when he did his check on the house.

The dog was found under the bed and was later put in the wardrobe, to preserve the crime scene..... :( :( :(

I cannot recall Jeremy saying the dog was found under the bed.  I do recall him wondering how one minute the dog is barking madly - then you couldn't hear it.  This was before entry.

I would not expect the police to be versed in logic but the dog was in essence the only survivor , im certain he would have barked non stop if jeremy had carried out these acts.
