Blood Evidence found in the Silencer

Blood and DNA

(1) Blood was found inside the silencer, in the following quantities:-

(2) End cap / aperture - human blood and two lots of animal blood (type AK1)

(3) Trapped between Baffles one and two, small flake, producing blood group activity (A, EAP BA, AK1 and HP 2-1)

(4) Human blood on all other baffles down as far as the 8th baffle plate (not identifiable to any specific individual)

(5) No blood at all on 9th Baffle
(6) No blood at all on 10th Baffle
(7) No blood at all on 11th Baffle
(8) No blood at all on 12th Baffle
(9) No blood at all on 13th Baffle
(10) No blood at all on 14th Baffle
(11) No blood at all on 15th Baffle
(12) No blood at all on 16th Baffle
(13) No blood at all on 17th Baffle

(14) DNA belonging to Shela Caffell in internal screw thread end at bottom of silencer

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Blood group activity, A, EAP BA, AK1 and HP 2-1, found in loose flake (3) did not mix intimately with any other blood found inside the silencer. All other blood found inside silencer was in the form of bloodstains, whereas, the blood group activity was obtained from a small loose flake of dried blood trapped between baffle plates one and two, once ballistic expert, Malcolm Fletcher dismantled the silencer after it was received at the lab' at Hungtingdon, on 30th August 1985 (actual dismantling of silencer by Fletcher may have taken place on some later date, before 12th September 1985)...

I've seen no evidence that there was animal blood in the silencer. I've seen suggestions that it was animal blood, but that's not evidence.

Yes, they found two types of animal blood on the silencers end cap (animals and humans share the AK1 blood enzyme)...

Following features are significant in my opinion:-

(1) blood stains inside silencer ingrained into and onto baffle plates, could not be associated to any individual or victim who died during the tragedy...

(2) small loose blood flake, which pproduced the blood group activity, A, EAP BA, AK1 and HP2-1, could have got into the silencer as a result of accidental, innocent or deliberate contamination...

Nevill's blood group was AK1 positive.
Blood from rats,  chickens, pigs and other cattle, and vermin, is also AK1

Blood group activity, A, EAP BA, AK1 and HP 2-1, has been exclusively linked or associated to or with Sheila Caffell, on the basis that she was the only victim with these combination of four blood group activities found,  once her blood was analyzed...

June and Ralph Bamber, only had three of these four blood groups in the make up of their blood

Careful. A cynic might suggest rehearsals with animals...

If Ralph and June Bambers blood mixed together intimately, it would be possible that the four blood group activities, A, EAP BA, AK1 and HP 2-1, found in the analysis of the loose flake, could have originated from them both...

Correct - that was acknowledged at the trial, although it was considered a "remote" possibility at the time.

Have JB's team found blood experts who have said that is more likely than unlikely?
