  Probably not, Susan.
  But here's another 'true' story.
A former beauty queen, whom I knew, was also a vicar's daughter, and she informed me that she had been deflowered by the Bishop. No wench had finer credentials.
She worked in the chemists. A policeman of her acquaintence came  into the shop to buy a packet of 'three'. He arranged a tryst with her, and took her to the deserted market.
At the back of the stalls, this redheaded, and redblooded Pc took out his manhood. A. was so taken aback by the siZe of his truncheon, that she kneed him in the goolies. He was mightily abashed.

A short while ago,  at Hey bridge Basin, the theft of a dinghy was reported, from the boat mooring, by Wilkin's Tea Rooms.
A call was made to the local police. When plod arrived a mere 2 hours late, he went up the ramp onto the seawall. Time not being of the essence, and the tidings not being glad, Mr plod issued a crime number.
It just goes to prove the old adage - 'Time & Tide wait for No man (not even for a police man'.
