Blimey!  You're right.  :)

There is what looks like a door behind that tree, and in JB's hand-drawn plan it does say 'bolts', with a doorway drawn on, in between the words 'stairs' and 'scullery'.  (No, I can't do link - look for yourselves.)

But, still, what does this prove?  Except for another way the police could have gained entry.

Now I need to know if they were all bolted? I don't think the back door nearest the kitchen was bolted....I think it was the door that accessed the kitchen from the back that was bolted....If this was the case then anyone could have used a key to exit another door by going up the back stairs and across the landing and coming down the main staircase...One didn't need to use a bloody window.  Vic or Hartley would know... :-\ :) :) :) :) :)

If you are talking about the door in position 'C' on that plan, then that door was not in use, it was fixed shut and sealed with paint.

It's described in some of the raid team statements.

The only door that I have read about that the raid team could not open was the cellar door....I must have missed the other external door.... :(  :) :) :) :)

Odd because the ground floor shows 4 doors one into the Dairy......Maybe it is that one that is bricked up?   :-\ :) :) :) :)

So why were you talking about a third door?

And according to that plan there are four external doors, discounting the cellar.

What are you getting at exactly?

I'm not, not really, I like to find out as much as possible...I find doors and windows to be significant in many cases....I just want to find out if all external doors were bolted...I am now inclined to think they weren't......So if anyone think Jeremy would be daft enough to climb through windows when he could have easily used a key, is beyond me...........I wonder what happened to all these keys.? Just asking! LOL  :) :) :) :)

They were all bolted and secured from the inside, with the exception of the door the raid team smashed down which didn't have bolts (I think) but was locked from the inside and the key was in the lock.

Read the raid team statements, especially Delgardo and Rozga statements.

Well it has been alledged Patti that after the new back door there was only one key which was for the new back door.....hence the reason some of the family climbed through the window. You would therefore imagine no other keys existed......strange but possibly true. I night add this is an assumption and I am not claiming it is fact.

I have no idea, but what difference would it have made either way?
