So Bamber doesn't know what he heard in his 'alleged' conversation?

Of course he does, he told the police when he was interviewed before the police bailed him, he told the police on that occasion, that his father told him, "She has got the gun, she has gone crazy, come quickly", and police accepted his explanation, nothing could be any clearer...

Except..... he doesn't say that now. Why did he tell the police different when he called that morning?

He did, and PC West changed it into what is now being said, which with the passing of time, became accepted as fact...

Julie Mugford?
Ann Eaton?
June Bamber?
Sheila Caffell?

Julie was in Lewisham, London at 3:00am and was without her Flying Saucer that night..
Ann Eaton was closer at Little Totham, but a 1000/1 rank outsider.Would have been given an alibi by husband Peter.
June Bamber was on the premises, suffered from bouts of depression, yet evidence she was shot in bed and didn't move from the master bedroom.
Sheila Caffell also in situ, but no forensic evidence she handled or reloaded a gun. Not a woman's crime.

I think it's more a case of he's got the gun,as in "if he buys that 5 bore shotgun we'll all have to look out"..

Bamber told you the Police changed what he said but now he says it himself???
and Police changed all the paperwork recording the original call to them........
and no one mentioned it at trial......
and the official website says Sheila......
and defence agreed to either Sheila or Jeremy, even though he didn't ever say Sheila......

What Bollocks.

I thought PC Manners said it looked like June had been dragged from the bed?

i'm afraid that i can't find jb's police interviews but i recall that there was some questioning relating to "she" and/or "sheila"
however, in my opinion, and of greater significance is the fact that jb, having been informed by his step father that (putting the matter entirely neutrally) a female was in possession of a gun and had "gone crazy" and having been requested (implored) to "come quickly", then decided (in no particular order) to telephone jm and the police (not by means of a 999 call but after looking up the tel no in a telephone directory !!) and then drove at a modest speed to whf

You need to understand in what context Ralph requested Jeremy to come quickly, what is your understanding of what he meant, when he said what he said, if he said what he said? What did Ralph mean, when he said "Come quickly"?

I thought PC Manners said it looked like June had been dragged from the bed?

June was shot seven times, sprayed with five bullets from at least a foot from the body and one shot between the eyes from less than one foot. It was mooted that June had first been shot in bed and had managed to crawl to the door. Under these circumstances I don't see how she could have discharged the murder weapon.

Doesn't the "come quickly" remark suggest an urgency, which Jeremy himself confirmed to Police and then backtracked on saying "my father sounded terrified when he called",yet Ralph does not himself call Police but uses the proxy Jeremy, who himself fails to follow his father's instructions.

my understanding is that "come quickly" means get here as fast as you can
does it bear another meaning?
