Yes,Mike,,the very last person in the scenario, that you'd think, but if you study the case long and hard,it's not difficult to reach that conclusion.

I have recently come across a document which speaks of hand swabs taken from the parents, but can find no evidence that these were examined at the lab'...

So...

Could be that the original police investigation thought that all three adults handled weapons and ammunitions...

Whoever it was,Mike,,it certainly wasn't Jeremy.and I fail to see why nobody has worked this out.

The lot who put Jeremy behind bars, should ALL hang their heads in shame.
Good job he's not a vindictive man. That's all I can say.

Sheila?

June?

Just for arguments sake - if Ralph was referring to June when he called Jeremy, "She has got the gun", (etc), it requires a fresh look at the case, which for the purpose of debate I am prepared to look into...

Ask yourself who was Ralph referring to, if he told Jeremy, " She has got the gun, she has gone crazy, come quickly"...

Ralph was dead by that stage, shot eight times and bashed over the head, fracturing his jaw with damage to teeth, neck and larynx. The left side of his lip was wounded,he had black eyes,a broken nose, bruising to cheeks, a cut lip, cuts on the head, bruising to the right forearm and circular burn-type marks on his back.He had been shot six times to the head and face, fired when a rifle was a few inches away from his skin. The remaining shots had occurred when he was at least two feet away.Based on where the empty cartridges were found-three were in the kitchen and one on the stairs-the Police concluded he had been shot four times upstairs, but had managed to get downstairs where a struggle took place, during which he was hit several times with the rifle and shot again, this time fatally.

The description of Ralph's injuries I have taken from Wikipedia-The White House Farm Murders. You have to ask yourself why Ralph(Nevill) in this life and death situation meekly surrenders the telephone to Sheila without giving one last yell down the receiver to Jeremy. Jeremy tells Police that "my father sounded terrified when he called" yet has the time to flick unconcernedly through the Yellow Pages for ten minutes, yet when he does finally get round to making contact with the Police he is the first to hasten them. Sheila herself it seems has reloaded a gun twice with two magazines, necessitating trips up and downstairs as she can't store ammunition on her person, her nails are undamaged, there is no gun oil on her nightdress or lead residue on her hands. Her left hand is blood-free,yet she is supposed to have been in contact with at least one other person and shot herself twice,or if it's your cup of tea, been shot by the Police.

Because only Ralph knew his own wife,,and perhaps what he knew she too was capable of,,it could well have been who was threatening Sheila at the point when he phoned.

I put this on the other thread, lookout. My own feeling is, that if by "She", Nevill meant June, it was because his brain refused to accept that his hitherto quiet, gentle wife had become a screaming Virago who bore no relationship to Jeremy's mother.

IF (as you say) they were all dead by the time of the phone call to police, what reason would Jeremy then have to delay the call to police? Why would he need to spend 10 mins looking up the number and further, why would he admit this? All he had to say was that he kept the number by the phone and had it to hand. But he admitted taking the time to look up the number - what part of the devilish plan does this act fulfil?

June could have attacked Ralph, battered him, and shot him dead in the kitchen, and proceeded upstairs to shoot the children - the state and condition of her body and nightdress with blood from everybody upon it, bears witness to this fact/possibility...

Yes,Mike, because Sheila was shot lying down, there wouldn't have been blood spuriously pumping out of her as opposed to June,,who was the one who was completely saturated simply because she was moving about. Blood obviously pumps a lot quicker when you're on the move.

There is no lab' examination results disclosed in relation to June Bambers nightdress, ND/5, so officially, we do not know to whom, and from whom, all that blood originated from, that is present on her nightdress...
