I could. Not really though. I do sleep with one eye open though.

The assailant/s used 3 weapons. 1) a martial arts kendo stick. 2) a samurai sword. 3) a kitchen knife. All 3 weapons belonged to the deceased. All 3 weapons were found at the scene of the crime, along with a  hammer.

Pearson was arrested a day before Duane and claimed that Duane had confessed to murder. Duane claimed he had observed Pearson hide a knife under a paving slab. (Police found this hidden knife exactly where Duane saw Pearson hiding it) but DNA fingerprints could not be found. Which, if any of these knives was it claimed to have inflicted the fatal blow that killed David Williams?  Were Davids other injuries consistent with being assaulted with a hammer and kendo stick?

In this laundry bag, police found a t-shirt with 3 small spots of blood DNA, although not visible to the naked eye, it tested positive  for blood DNA that matched the deceased’s.

However results of forensic/DNA testing of the t-shirt showed that the full DNA profiles of at least three other individuals – including the deceased’s – were present on the inside collar, and also the underarms of this garment.

Is it possible that the spots of blood "not visible to the naked eye", came to be there due to the vicitm sneezing whilst another was wearing the t-shirt?  Is it known who the full DNA profiles match too?

How did the police know that Duane would be at the council offices that day?

How many dogs lived at David Williams home and what breed were they?

The hammer that was found at the crime scene which had blood on it, was it the victims blood?

The court was told, that Duane informed police he’d observed Pearson secretly hiding a knife on Saturday morning the 12th March 2011.  Police recovered the knife, where Duane told them it was, under a paving slab. Following this discovery, Pearson then alleged, it was while he was in the garden hiding the knife, that Duane, “confessed” to the murder.

Whose garden was this?

Don't know what his reason was.  Hopefully Paris or Stephannie will be able to answer some of the questions.

I have read several articles and the press had a field day with Duane.  I've still got plenty of reading to do but I can't help thinking that there could have been more than one person involved in the murder of David Williams.

If it was one person who went there intending to seriously injure him or kill him, why not use one weapon instead of faffing about with 4 different weapons?

It was his mother who found his body, how sad is that.  :(

Are you saying that King isn't the only guilty party?

Oh no, I'm not saying that at all.  I've just started reading up on the case, so I haven't really formed an opinion on anyones guilt.

re: who's garden was this? an associate of 'pearson's'.. Duane who discovered 'pearson' on saturday morning sitting on the steps of some ones house 'head in hands'.. stopped to ask why he was sitting there? Pearson replied ..my mate won't let me in.. Duane was on his way to buy himself breakfast, and offered to buy 'Pearson' some breakfast too, suggesting it wld be better than sitting on the steps outside of his mates. before joining Duane Pearson told duane to wait a minute..it was then that he disappeared into the garden area..duane waited on the road where he stood..did not join him but observed the suspicious behaviour and what pearson hid.

As police said in court when questioned..re weapons and knife..because knife was found at scene..is this the only assunption as to why its believed to be the knife that was used? Police agreed in court that the knife belonging to pearson which he addmitted to hiding..could have also  caused the inflicted knife injuries..

Hi Paris, thanks for your replies.  Interesting.

What was the pathologists opinion, was Pearsons knife mentioned?
