That photo is from about 1860!!!  8) 8) 8)

Well maybe not quite that old, but certainly many many decades before 1985.

Aww...So that was was taken down at some point Hartley? Do you have any idea when? Could it have been there 27 years ago?  :) :) :)

But you can't see the main bedroom window from either of them, can you?

Absolutely not.

It wasn't taken down at all, it's the curved wall.

The porch no longer exists and was not present in 1985.

The wall to the left either is the same curved wall which is currently there, or was replaced by the curved wall at a date long before 1985.

Well this just confirms my theory that it was the box room.....

Bew's certainly describes the back of the house...He says there were no lights coming out from the building...(but there was) so who put them on?

I doubt Myall sees movement in the main bedroom. According to Mildenhall the light was on in the main bedroom, therefore could not have reflected the moonlight... :) :) :) :)

But there isn't a field or a hedge on the 'box room' side.

I don't believe it did, it's not on the line of a natural boundary, it's more akin to a folly.
Thanks

Bews did say in one of his interviews that trick of light was from the window at the top right side. Which would make it Sheilas bedroom if he was behind a hedge, or the box room if he was behind a wall.

The curved wall ends abruptly Hartley on the white side on the house. I think we all agree that the main bedroom window can't be seen from that wall.

The other photo showing the wall on the left view from the front of the house....red side, in my opinion looks straight....From that same wall it also looks like you could see the main bedroom window if you were to stand behind it.....

Hartley, what you say then is that this wall was not there in 1985, it had been knocked down.   8) 8) 8)

No, which makes what Jeremy told Mike in his taped conversation um... inaccurate.

The wall you think you see has never been there.

What I am saying is that the wall shown in the photo with the porch is probably the same curved wall we already know about and you are probably just interpretting it incorrectly.

However, if you are not, and it is indeed a different wall, then it was demolished a very long time before 1985.

I'm not sure how much clearer I can be.  :-\

I would say that Jeremy is allowed a few inaccuracies after having been incarcerated there for years on end.I don't think I'd always be able to think straight if I was locked up somewhere where I didn't want to be.

The conversation was 4 years after he was locked up, and do you really believe that he would remember all those details but not which window it was, or that he would forget where the walls were at a house in which he grew up?
