I do believe he could of been shot in the lower arm on the landing. but that is unlikey put blood on the phone if you use your good arm to pick up the phone and hold against your shoulder with your head. & dail with the good hand.

Mind you if Ralph died in the kitchen doen't mean he made the call there, the office was a another place and escape by the backdoor!

yes as the Jam pointed out soaking of blood! if it was done by opening a closing there be the same patten on blood on the other side!  but the blood stain show be the other side if that was to be the same Bible as in the photo....

It is actually strange how one can look and look at something that doesnt make sense and we can't see the answer and then suddenly it dawns and its so obvious. This does rather chuck the Transfiguration theory out of the window..but.its hard to believe that it was just coincidence.....
