It is a condition called 'hypostasis' or 'livor mortis'  which is a settling of the blood in the lower (dependent) portion of the body, causing a purplish red discoloration of the skin: when the heart is no longer pumping the blood, heavy red blood cells sink through the serum by action of gravity.

 Moe,,,I know about livor mortis,,but on the pics of Sheila,it wasn't evident.
What does bug me is the fact that NO times of death were recorded,,and given the tragic circumstances of the case,I would have thought that would have been a vital part of the investigation.

telling AE , who was telling the truth ?

EP officer Jeapes claimed she saw what she believed was a gun at a window , backed up by a picture of a gun at a window , was Jeapes wrong ?

EP officer Adams claimed when he saw SC body on the floor it had no gun upon it , that he could remember and her head and the bible where in a different position than what he had seen previously !!
