Yes the one in Horsforth is near me, i live just down the rd.
its a female competitor i believe, there is a few around west yorkshire , i was on the belief they were staying gold.

We have one in the local town to me and that is for Mary Rand...long jump in 1960 something. So it seems to be from any era not just those winning now.

right thanks for the correction, im happy you find it rewarding , i can even see the pride being in west yorkshire i can understand that, as you know im from yorkshire too but i just dont see it, having said that im back in training on my cycle taking it easy but getting back on track.

its unfortunate you are not a stonethrow from flat country terrain like here in Scunthorpe, leeds must have a network of cycle ways.

We have lots of cycle lanes on the main rds, plenty of places to cycle in leeds i suppose, i just use my legs or the bus!
