I know a family who don't bother with their first names, they all use their middle. 

Andrea is good to me, I'm not sure about Mercedes, I like unusual names though, being a Steve, who can blame me?

I dont have a middle name, if i did i would use it. I prefer andie. I get called that by my brothers and sisters anyway.
