Clarifying previous post

I have been asked to clarify certain things i have previously written.

I now wish to say that whilst I worked at White House Farm  from 11th August 1985 for 14 weeks. My contract was to harvest the corn using the Bambers Cllass 108 combine, and feed the suckler herd that grazed on Tollesbury marsh.

With regard to the burning of furniture. I did not see the furniture being removed from the house but it was taken from the garage next to the house. The only piece of furniture removed from the house was a roll-top desk/beurea. This had been stored in the main hall that is immediatly in front of you as you walk through the front door. This was lifted onto a trailer and Robert directed me to take it to his house where it was left in a lean-to at the rear of the house.

Also all carpets and a rug were burnt that day which makes Peter Sutherst film and statement untrue.

With regard to the lights - I was only made aware of the lights as they were mounted on concrete plinths, because i was due to cut the hedges after i had finished combining and i was'nt to catch them with the hedge cutter.
The actual lights were removed at a later date, and whilst I have said the police removed the lights, I did not actually see them remove them, but they were removed at some point.
The information that "the police removed them" came from conversations I had with the man who loooked after the sheep on the marsh.

Police did not cut the carpet out and burn it on 7th August 1985, prior to the scene being photographed by the police, and police records confirm what I am saying as being true, and expose what you appear to be saying as not being accurate, furthermore, photographs taken by PC Bird (SOC) at the scene, show the carpet still in tact inside the bedroom, prior to it being cut out and burned by the police on a bonfire...

Please report the facts accurately, without trying to undermine the findings of Mr Sutherst...

I don't think the carpet burning is relevant in this instance. The photos being referred to were taken the day of the murders before any carpets were burned weren't they?

Did you go around the house afterwards, or did the police simply tell you they were burning everything? As I understand it, they were most concerned about the bedroom carpet etc.

Given that the police claimed Jeremy insisted they burnt items from the house, it's very interesting to read that it was other relatives who were actually present at the time of the bonfire.

Police would not destroy anything they did not want to be destroyed, please refrain from trying to suggest that it was Jeremy who wanted the police to destroy evidence from the scene - the police would only agree to have done this if they agreed to it, for one reason ir another...

Mike, I'm not suggesting this is what Jeremy said at all. It's what the police claimed, and Horseydave's recollection of the Boutflours being there at the time of the bonfire shows that it WASN'T Jeremy who put pressure on the police.

Police destroyed what they wanted to destroy from the scene - its as simple as that, and from their point of view they had good reason to want to destroy the bedroom carpet...

Mike, I'm not suggesting this is what Jeremy said at all. It's what the police claimed, and Horseydave's recollection of the Boutflours being there at the time of the bonfire shows that it WASN'T Jeremy who put pressure on the police, in my opinion

Other family members were being fed information from the investigation by their friend PC Robert Carr, who was a Metropolitan police officer, who was the son, of the caravan park manager, Jim Carr, who worked for the relatives at Osea road Camp site......
