I disagree that all enquries into the case recognise it. In fact it is the opposite and they are happy that Jeremy's conviction is safe.

Mat, perhaps we are only doing what the police should have done in the beginning? That is to follow every lead and there were leads that they simply did not follow up. That is what we are doing here on the forum. A bit like assembling a jigsaw puzzle. You try one bit and if it doesn't fit then try another bit and so on. That's how I look at it anyway. Unfortunately those who think JB to be guilty only seem to follow one path, the official line of things. But if you look at the evidence that was presented in court and the wealth of evidence that was witheld it soon becomes apparent that there has been a gross miscarriage of justice.
What is more all enquiries into the case recognise this. But still refuse to act upon it.

What enquiries recognise that?

In this country, that's hardly a ringing endorsement of the truth though is it?

I would say so. They are happy that the convicition is correct and safe and that anything offered up after the conviction has been either hear-say or incomplete.

I see the CCRC bashed so much - but what do you want them to do with incomplete tests? Let him out of prison?

Will you state your alleged authority for this claim?

The entire appeal process....

The case is heard and he is trying to overturn the conviction but he fails...

was the conviction safe for the birmingham 6 at ALL times, prior to the quashing if this country still had the death penalty they would now all be dead.

No one can make this claim while the case is subject to a JR

No. That is why in the end they were released.
If you have strong evidence as they did - for Bamber - I'd love to hear it.

Of course the claim can be made that enquries have found his conviction safe. It happenend again just a few months ago!
It's being discussed whether that was fair and just. But it still happened.

You have indicated here many times that your mind is closed on this case. You refuse to see the flaws in the grounds for convicition.

The JR can at best result in the decision being retaken. It's not a review of the case.

Well sure, I sleep fine at night over the case because nothing has ever come forward to convince me otherwise. There has been claims over and over that new evidence has been found, a new witness, new photo, new test, phone records, recorded phone calls.............

But nothing has ever materialised.

Remember the joy about the notebook? People thought Bamber would be out because of all the promises that were made about this new notebook - when it was looked at though.......it was useless.

That's what happens in the Bamber case time and time again.
