I think the database badly needs maintenance?

I think you are right.  Hunting pics to delete is slow business.  Mat mentioned something about purchasing more space?

well you could offer temp mod positions to further members only for picture removal some members have more free time than others.

Funny you should mention that,  I wondered if pages of the forum could be split among regulars, to hunt out non case related pics.  The real problem is more likely to be all the case related pics.  The crime scene pics of SC must have been uploaded about 200 times alone.

I'm only half wy through Colin's book and this may get mentioned again further on but if he doesn't then he does not say that Sheila wrote 'i hate this place'. What he has said about it up to page 119 is only this:

"All of a sudden, Ann broke into out thoughts and came in. She said they had thought it better to put the room back the way Bambs had had it. Rather than leave it empty, after the twins' beds had been removed, they brought Bambs's old bed back in. 'Have you seen this?' asked Ann, pointing out some words scratched into what looked like new paint on the wardrobe door.  'I HATE THIS PLACE,' it said. I then remembered the police asking me about it, but on seeing those words I felt as if I had seen them before, in the last year or so - probably when I stayed at Christmas, although I couldn't be absolutely sure. I guess Bambs must have written it out of frustration on one of her earlier, more anguished visits. It seemed sad but now quite unimportant."

This could have been written at any time in the history of that wardrobe and by anybody that had been in that room. I don't want to incur the wrath of Patti but Colin says 'I guess' he may come back to this later but if not, this is far from conclusive. Patti, if I'm wrong then I'm happy to be told.  :)

Hi ajross just reading your post from Colin,s book it implied the wording had been scratched onto what looked like a newly painted wardrobe door.  Would this not indicate it had been scratched out quite recently or am I as usual missing something :)

Hi AJ, he gives the impression that she wrote it, for he sort of remembers it......If he hadn't seen it AJ he would have said he had never seen it....So it does throw doubts.  I suppose it is up to the reader on  how they interpretate it....I take it that he had seen it before, otherwise he would have said he didn't...

I don't think you are wrong AJ and I don't think I am right....but I think Colin did know he had seen it before...... :-\ :-\ :-\ ;)

In my own opinion i think it suggests it was painted over in an attempt to get rid of it, if you look at the thread i posted with the actual photo in you'll see what i mean

Hi AJ, he gives the impression that she wrote it....could he mean that he was unsure of the time he saw it...meaning Christmas time?  :) :) :)

I think he suggests that it was her but she could have written it any time. I know you are convinced of JBs innocence (and i reiterate that i'm only half way through this book) but Colin seems to very much believe JB is guilty, and he's convincing me!!!That said, i am not enjoying the book.

AJ. JB was convicted of murder, it would come easy to him to dislike the man....I have great respect for Colin, but I do feel he is on his own journey and mixes reality with some sort of faith...to me the book get weird towards the end....But, I will leave you to finish it off and, draw your own conclusions.

I am not a biased person AJ...I search for the truth of what might have happened that night and, I do think Jeremy Bamber is innocent.  :) :) :)

Colins book does not seem to have been written in one go , its evident there are long lapses, a sign of thinking time to what to say , a quarter of the book is of no intrest it woffles on a bit , i would not expect colin to view jeremy innocent but he is so prior to the murders part .

Mertol :) I think Colin and Jeremy got on like brothers, before all this mess. It's sad in a way. I can understand Colin, but I also understand Jeremy...That man needs to be free, he has served more than his allocated time...it is a grave injustice in its self to keep him locked up....when you see other murderers out in less than 10 years......Jeremy is no threat to society, he hasn't put a foot wrong while being inside...alls he wants is to be heard fairly....

Tis Chardo night mertol....what a lovely grape.. :) :) :) :)
