According to Channel 4 News: Dr MacDonell . . . told Channel 4 News: "From the bloodstain patterns the victim's arms must have been moved.

"Bloodstains on the floor showed that other objects were also moved. I concluded that it had to have been murder because of the two shots under her chin. (But) Some time later I learned that the pathologists concluded that she could have fired both shots so I now believe it could have been suicide as well."

Robinson Publishing is just a book publishing company (now Constable & Robinson).

MacDonell first talks about June Bamber. He said that she was shot as she lay in bed on the side nearest to the door. He then said she "moved around the bed to the other side dripping blood and/or expirated blood". He goes on to say that the blood around and under Sheila's body most likely came from June.

So what is he saying? That June was shot as she was lying down, she sat on the side of the bed nearest the door, then got up and walked round the bed dripping blood to the side where Sheila was found, and then walked back round to the other side near the door?

The blood on Sheila's nightdress is a puzzle. It seems to me that she was flat on the floor straight after she was shot - the blood going across both sides of her face tell me that, and she was not moved whilst that blood was flowing across her face.  I still don't see how any blood could have run down her nightdress whether her hand was against her neck or not.

What happened to the reports? Those reports tell a story about the blood stains in the bedroom floor.

As far as I recall, the report said that there was blood on the carpet near the door, at the foot of the bed and the side of the bed furthest from the door, and he thought it was not Sheila's blood. I'd like to see more on that because that is hugely important as to what happened in that bedroom and who was shot there.

Mike has said that Neville's blood was not found in the bedroom, but did they look for it? If not, then it could have been there - on the floor. Who else would bleed on the carpet on the side of the bed furthest from the door?

The blood on Sheila's arm is suspicious. McDonnell took the view that it got there when her hand was up on her neck, and I see what he means. If she shot herself how did her her right hand end up on her neck?

Her left hand was near her left shoulder so she didn't use that one. Her legs were straight on the floor so I doubt that she used her toe. Plus, if she had used her toe, the gun would not be where it is in my opinion.

How would another shooter manage to make those hits?

Is there a graphic anywhere to show how the bullets travelled after entering Shelia? Sorry Mike, this is back in your department.

If Shelia was on the floor when she was shot was the shooter laying down on the floor or what?

This was one of the reasons the police thought she had shot herself back then ( so I heard anyway ).

If someone else killed Shelia it seems more likely she would have been laying on the bed - but I don't even see that.

she wouldn't of leaned the rifle against the window either. in my opinion the photos are staged. I hope a retrial is ordered as it will sort out the mystery and myth and show what a miscarriage of justice has occurred and will show anyone who has helped perpetuate the myth's
