Which silencer do you think police sent to the lab' to be checked for blood and fibres on 20th September 1985, surely not the one they purchased?

Lets develop this idea, and ask why this silencer which the police purchased solely to allow PC Whiddon an opportunity to screw it onto the barrel of the gun, has not been scientifically examined and checked for DNA or the presence of blood? Why would police risk contaminating a silencer they purchaded by allowing PC Whiddon and opportunity to screw it onto the barrel of a gun which is suspected of having fired 25 bullets that killed five people?

Of course it was the same silencer that Whiddon collected from DCI Jones desk, but it was not the same silencer that was already sent to the lab' and had been there since and from 30th August 1985?

Well...

At least your coming around to thinking there was another silencer used by police, and not the one already at the lab from 30th August 1985...

Like you say, it didn't have an exhibit label attached to it, so it must have been the other one kept on DCI Jones desk at Witham police station for over a month?

I wonder why DCI Jones kept that silencer on his desk and refused to submit it to be forensically examined?

Could it have been anything to do with the fact that DCI Jones thought the relatives were trying to frame Jeremy for the murders by use of that silencer?

OK...

PC Whiddon refuses to speak about the silencer he was photographed screwing onto the end of the guns barrel, yet a retired police officer who uses the Christian name of David, told Ewen Smith in 2004, that Whiddon collected the silencer from DCI Jones desk and took it along to the force amoury to see if it fitted the guns barrel, and that when he found that it did, that silencer was eventually sent to the lab'...

Now...

My question is this...

If there is going to be a public enquiry into these matters, what will PC Whiddon say about the silencer he was photographed screwing onto the barrel of the gun?

Would he/ will he confirm that the silencer in question is the one he collected from the desk of DCI Jones, and will he confirm that it was shortly after this that that silencer was sent to the lab' to be checked for blood and fibres?

Now...

Whiddon can come clean, or he can fry with the others, the choice is in his hands...

PC Whiddon is caught out...

Basically he is fucked and has a hell of a lot of explaining to do regarding what he was photographed doing, and what he did?

The family were told it was 20 mins but believe it is a 'broadcast half hour' which is 27mins.

Reason why David Boutflour did not make a witness statement before 12th September 1985, mentioning the find of the silencer a month previously was/is because until that point police did not intend to use it until they marked the left hand panels of the aga surround by use of it on 12 th September. It had been laid dormant for a month on top of DCI Jones desk...

I do not believe any member of the family is involved in Lamberton's forum.    They do not want to be associated with him in any way.  Vidvic and Hartley have made that very clear, both here and on Lamberton's forum.  Lamberton is desperate to gain credibilty by claiming contact with and support of the family, but that is simply not true.

I would like to have a look at that forum, do you have a link?
