no discolouration of sheilas body
« on: February 03, 2011, 10:57:PM »
Essex Police reckon sheila died between midnight and 3am, if thats the case then there should be some discolouration after 7hrs? But there is no evidence of it on the photos i have seen.

No. She looks pale but you would expect her to really. I don't know what a body should look like after that long to be honest. She looks very peaceful doesn't she? Is that significant do you think?

livor mortice starts from 20 minutes to 3 hrs after death, so there should definately be some discolouration there. she does look peacefull yes i agree, do you think there is some significance in that? im not sure to be honest.would be helpfull if there were more pictures available.

just looked up PALLOR MORTIS which means paleness of skin after death, it develops almost instantly in those with light skin from 15 to 120 minutes after death.pallor motis cant be used to determine time of death, aside from saying that they died less than 30 mins ago or more, which could help if the body was found very quickly after death.i find that very significant

Thanks Andrea. Do you think that the same quality pictures of June exist for example? Just like you I have seen a low quality picture of June but nothing of the quality of the Sheila ones.

i think clear pictures of june exist, theyre not in the public domain. the photos of sheila hold more significance, thats why we just see the pictures of her.it would be interesting to see the post mortem pictures too.

The photos of Sheila that relate to blood and time of death are of course significant but wouldn't their significance be enhanced with say 3 or 4 comparative pictures of June to show the difference in the time of death?

Do you know how the pictures of Sheila came to be in the public domain? and, for example why pictures of June aren't?

if what i have read about livor and pallor mortice is accurate, then sheila cant have been dead more than 2 hours before the pictures were taken.

--------------------------------------------------

The color of Sheila's skin, and the lack of rigor mortis, at the time when pictures were taken of her, suggest in the clearest possible terms, that she had not been dead for any longer than two hours prior to when the pictures of her, had been, and were taken...

Will we have any comparative pictures of another victim of the same quality?
