Thanks for your reply Nick. I also agree with much of what you have said. Your post makes a lot of common sense and I like that.

I wonder, has Ewen Smith ever publicly (or otherwise for that matter) denied what Mike has said about seeing the photographs in his office?

Janet, not that I am aware of: and why should Ewen they are only forum stories.

What I have in the past suggested; and supported by ngb; and Mike has offered to do, is sign a sworn affidavit to the fact that Mike has seen this photo in Ewen's office.

To date (over quite a few years) Mike has not actually produced an affidavit, even though more recently saying he would be prepared to do, which even if JB;s team don't or couldn't use it; would do two things;

1) Support Mike's story and something for Mike to pin on the forum (if he so wishes) as some sort of forum certificate!

2) cause Ewen to come out publicly and challenge said affidavit creating the opportunity for Mike to expose him (although this may back fire as Mike has no proof of this photo and Ewen could sue Mike for possible defamation)!

Just the local.  But I'm staying off the real cider because I swear you could murder someone on that stuff and not know a thing about it the next day.  I'm forever having to remove posts because of it.

Yes, it was the recollection of some of your later evening weekend posts that made me comment - and stay off the real cider - we don't want to have to start a rochford forum  ;D

Informant mentioned to Ewen that if he did not give a public response soon, he would be receiving material at his home address, and so would the other commissioners dealing with the application....

Just thought I'd call this point up.

How soon is 'soon'?

Also, shouldn't other commissioners mean S. McK?

Just accepting there are two alleged photographs of Sheila on the bed with a single gunshot wound does not do Jeremy any good.
That's not what's alleged. What mike tesko stated is that there was only one such photograph, and the photograph handed over to the CCRC was not that photograph, but one that he had seen long ago in Ewen's office.

I have seen two of them and I have been told there are more...
The first one (that Ewen had originally seen) showed Sheila on the bed, and would be hard to explain if mike tesko's description of it is accurate. The second one, showing Sheila with only one bullet wound, if genuine, would really be dynamite, but apparently that one hasn't been passed to the CCRC yet.
