DC 1470
« on: February 06, 2012, 03:15:PM »
Last year I was following up on the suicide note and got through to the consultancy campaign.
It's reference was DRH/42, they informed me that it was found on a bedside table in Sheila's room
by DC1470. They also said they found a second version with note attached but couldn't be sure if that
was DRH/42. Does anyone know who DC1470 is please ?

According to www.sleuthingforjustice.com it is DC 1470 David Robert Hammersley (SOC).

If Hammersley found the note in Sheila's room on a bedside table, how did it manage to find it's
way to her parent's bedroom and push itself inside the bible next to Sheila ? And then disappear
without being photographed by Bird ?

Maybe it was this that caused him so much distress and said would cause the breakdown of his marriage!

   HM Essex,
Is Hammersley the same person who broke down When the City of London Police
did their inquiry and appears in the Dickinson Report ?

I believe so.  Although I'm just guessing at what caused him to break down.  It's been discussed before and not sure if the reason was discovered.

I have just looked through Hartley's archive and seen the two pieces on Hammersley, was he
the one who took the hand swab evidence to Huntingdon forensics lab knowing they would be
rejected, if so that is peculiar seeing as he was a scene of crime officer that found the suicide note ?

Does anyone know if Hammersley appeared for the prosecution at the 1986 trial ?  And what was
Hammersley's role in relation to Simpson and Stan Jones ?

The whole case (Police 'evidence') is peculiar, Campion!

Regarding hand swab etc, do what I do and put 'Hammersley' into search on main page and it will take you to all the threads/comments about him.

Mike's the expert on all this.

     HM Essex,
Thanks for speedy reply, Because I didn't know until Janet's confirmation that Hammersley
found the suicide note, He has obviously played a major role in this cover-up and perverted the course
of Justice. Can Simon McKay subpoena evidence from Hammersley ?

Oooh, I don't know, Campion!

It's not just him, though, is it?

However, the way he broke down could mean he has a conscience, or was he just worried about himself?  But we still don't really know the actual reason he was so distressed.

If all the latest evidence is correct and Hammersley was involved in the conspiracy from the start
ie putting the suicide note in the bible, then I presume following who ever he was in direct contact
with and who he was taking instructions from and reporting back to should bring new leads. Does
anyone know whether he worked directly for Essex police or was he drafted in from another force ?

According to this publication, Essex Police also extends its good wishes to the following officers who are retiring: . . . Sgt David Hammersley, Chelmsford SOC, 24.years (25.8.96).

Interesting how you have access to this publication. Any chance of you sharing with us issues that feature the Bamber case?

Reader, Great find, is the Robert Miller mentioned above Hammersley, the same one that attended
WHF, if he is, then it's truly great piece of research.
