Looking at my garden I wish we could have snow gardens all of the year. It makes our garden look tidy for a change.

Yep, they're country pictures alright. Even down to the wilderbeast. I didn't venture outside today at all. I just sat inside and kept the cat warm on my lap.

My garden looks lovely under a blanket of snow too!

I did venture out earlier, rather smug as I had bought these 'snow/ice grippers' for my boots.  They are absolute rubbish!  They kept slipping off and I ended up holding them  >:(  It's not so bad today as the snow is still soft but lord knows what I'll do tomorrow when it turns to ice!

My son dug my beamer out today and parked it at the top of the drive for tomorrow. His friend's beamer looked like a Citreon Picasso with the snow on it. ;D

Buy a pair of mountaineering boots. Only be careful not to tread on folk's toes with them.

Snow in Copenhagen too. The first this winter. It is late! I love snow, but it gets so shabby in the City, it is more beautiful in villages and in the countryside.
