Hartley when the photo comes to light showing EP on the roof of WHF we will talk some more see how you defend that i know you will.

In light of Vidvic's reply above, I personally am not convinced that such photographs exist, however if they do and they ever come to light I most certainly will not be defending them.

Here ya go.

Yes somebody is doing some twisting, that's for sure.  :o
Yes I remember the post in question. I don't think Jackie was meaning to or inadvertently being bigotted? I just think she worded it in an odd way. It may have seemed to be patronising. But I think she was trying to counter that which she sees on a daily basis. That there is a fair amount of racism among white people which while they may not say so publicly they say such things in private. There are places in the UK where they seem to think that because there is a lot of unemployment among black people, that they must be lazy or stupid. I can tell you this through personal experience. This is particularly noticeable when the police seem to target black people just because they are black. (not always). You don't see this so much in the countryside and villages of Essex. Therefore what Jackie posted would be taken by many as patronising towards black people, when in actual fact it was not.

Hartley as pointed out by Neil my post did not show I was bigoted

My post today again shows we live in rascist society

I believe the Stephen Lawrence case was not properly investigated because he was black

Not that I wish to infer anyone as racist, but didn't Alan Hanson have to apologise to MOTD viewers and the BBC for calling a football player Black????

There's not much point, you're biased and your views are therefore worthless!  ::)

There must be more to it than that.

Unless you meant Ron Atkinson of course.  ;D

I met some American airforce guys who were black and I referred to them as coloured. They said to me, "Tell it how it is man. Call us black just as we call you white". I didn't know then that calling these black guys coloured I was unknowingly patronising them.

No it was about calling a black player 'coloured'.

No, Alan Hansen was cricised for using the term "coloured" rather than "black".  Black is now considered respectful, coloured is outdated and now considered derogatory.

I find that hard to believe as the 'BBC' approved description is Black.
