For the life of me I don't know why you are carrying this on hartley? You've had your say I've had mine. So why not let it go? Anyway that is not an example of me abusing you. It certainly wasn't telling Shona to go and f*** her dogs as you can see from the context.

I think if you back up a few posts you will see that I did try to put a stop to it.

Shona and Smiffy had a running exchange of insults going back many many months, for you to weigh in on her like you did in such a crude manner was ultimately why Shona is no longer here.

Your continued attempt to make me out to be nothing more than a trouble maker is your own paranoia, you are in the position as a moderator, why I have no idea because you show not a single bit of competence or control to carry out your duties.

If somebody is having a spat, which happens often, what should you do, jump in on one side or the other or tell the both to quit. You know the answer to that one.

This actually all stems from you taking offence at me telling you to grow up, and you've never got over that. You clearly didn't have a problem before hand otherwise you wouldn't have shared what you did about 'Mr T'.

The issue is at your end, not mine, cut out the bullshit and the goading and everything will carry on just fine, if somebody else is having a pop, joining in and showing your support to them is unnecessary. I f you carried out your duties as a moderator correctly and stopped people from being pathetic and insulting then you wouldn't get pages and pages of pettiness, you certainly shouldn't join in with it.

We have all become heated at times.  It is inevitable when we are dealing with a terrible case which understandably arouses very strong emotions.  Nevertheless I believe it must be possible for us all to continue debating the issues and leave behind the personal antagonisms which have developed.  Raking over past posts and quoting them in isolation out of context is only going to make the situation worse.  My fear is that it will drive people away from the forum which would be a terrible shame.  Although these spats may seem important to some and no doubt they amuse others but I suspect most people are left cold by them and are therefore less likely to contribute to the forum.

unless the following suggestion made above: Then Grahame (and I) just need cut out the insults directed at each other, even the sneaky ones veiled in sarcasm that you think may go unnoticed ........ can occur, then I unfortunately feel there is little hope.

I do not believe a moderator should be intentionally insulting and goading other members of the forum, regardless as to what has preceded it.

I reiterate what I consider to be a solution, Grahame can either accept that or not.

We were joking at that is that and you can see by the thread that I have openly posted. Hartley has deliberately attacked me on this in order to justify himself. There was actually no reason for him to post what he did. Because as you can see that which is perfectly plain for all to see. I did not tell Shona to go and f*** her dogs as hartley has done his best to tell you. It just was not true and I have shown you that by posting the whole thread.
Now because he has been revealed to have lied about me he is now going back into the tread and blaming smiffy for it. Not only that but he has changed tack and told me I should have put a stop to it. Well it was Shona who suggested making a film of smiffy with a stiffy etc. I didn't stop it because I wanted her to see that what she suggested was unfeeling and so I made a similar joke concerning her and her dogs. But I did not tell her what hartley said I did. My posting of the whole thread, which he did not was to show folk what actually was said. Now it is up to everyone on the forum to judge for themselves. Go on Nick, tell us the overall thought of the pm she sent you. You can't just hint that it was my fault.

Gladys doesn't have a sense of humour, earthy or otherwise. What he said was indefensible, and totally indicative of his mentality. He's the reason I've never been back to the forum, which I would imagine makes him a very happy Bellend. It's a shame that Neil feels the need to try and defend such a revolting comment. It must be becoming a bit of a cess-pit over there.

Her feelings appear quite clear, so do not try and suggest that I am making things up. Why you are being referred to as Gladys I have no idea.

That is a criticism. It indicates that you are not prepared to recognise me as moderator, although administrator is the term that should be used (where I have personal recognition by Mike on the work that I do). You said that you only want ngb to be moderator. You therefore certainly have no intention of moving forward. As for me I never close the door on anyone who truly wants things to change.

I will always defend my friends from abuse whoever dishes' it out and I will always be open to those who are sincere in what they say, even if they do not agree with me. But I will not bow to those who deceitfully want to draw me into a slanging match. I've said it before I have been fair in my moderation. I can be sharp tongued at times. But if people respect me then I will in turn respect them.

As I have said already. I did respect you. I even trusted you with information. But then you for some reason turned against me and started to be abusive in your posts. That was when I turned against you. I never ever an abusive if I am not provoked. NEVER. It was always my philosophy not to draw first blood. But if blood is drawn I will return as good as I received.

Anyway, I've made my opinion of you quite clear, by moving on I was suggesting to stop interacting which is what I will now do, it's up to you whether you carry on with insulting posts about me.
