I received information that someone by the name of BARKER had made threats against the lives of Ralph Bamber and his family, and that as a result of this, Ralph had an attack (by police) alarm fitted at whf, and took time off from his Magistrates duties...

According to information I received, BARKER threatened to shoot Ralph Bamber, and BARKER is supposed to have thrown shotgun cartridges at him in the High Street at Witham, at the time these threats were made?

If so...

Why didn't police arrest BARKER after the shootings and interview him, with a view to establishing whether or not he was involved in the shootings which Jeremy got blamed for?

Some footprints were photographed on some magazines in the lounge of the farmhouse, which might be linked to the question of who killed the family, if it was not Sheila - did such footprints belong to BARKER?

The photographs of these footprints have never been disclosed to Jeremy or his legal team, and could be vital in helping to show that someone other than Jeremy could have been responsible for killing his family...

If there had been any prospect that these muddy footprints had been made by Jeremy, they would almost certainly have formed part of the case against him when the matter came to trial, and therefore, we must assume that police enquiries revealed that these muddy footprints in the lounge (on the cover of a magazine) was made by some as yet unidentified person?

What shoe size?

Though it makes no sense at all...
A firearms team member was supposed to have opened a lounge room window when they entered.
As an escape route....not that it would be much use....they had loads of firearms team in by then..and would be well able to defend themselves.
Around the same time the front door was supposedly unlocked  and opened, and as it was so close to the lounge it would have satisfied any escape route need.

One therefore wonders if the lounge room window was opened by the police or whether that was just claimed to offer a suggestion for the muddy prints on magazines....

Going by the firearms teams stories (it was Collins that was supposed to have opened the window)...well his feet/boots should not have been muddy by then anyway...having already toured many parts of the house before... so that suggests it cannot have been him that was responsible unless we are being fed a totally bogus story about what the firearms team did... LOOKS LIKE IT.

If Collins did step on the magazines ...well the last place he could have messed his boots up was the kitchen...so we may expect possibly blood on his boots ...or maybe sugar...but no....that wasnt reported.

Could it still have been a police officer ..maybe...but not in conversance with the stories they gave!

Loads of her family are dead and not buried and she's looking for torn up letters in bins

Mad and a nasty piece of work

Hartley who was it who said Jeremy acted strange after the murders?

Mike.........without wanting to pour cold water on your theory, wasnt we all led to believe that the person said to be threatning Nevill and which resulted in the installation of the panic alarm...had the surname of Eden?

Jackie.........I think that the whole family acted rather abnormally in the wake of the murders.Every single one of them appeared to be devoid of all emotion with regards to the victims.
There seemed to be more passion involved when discussing or "making notes" of the inheritance, especially when it came to trying to find ways to stop Jeremy from receiving it.And that started before he was even convicted!

Go for it, Jackie. Rattle their DAGS ! What's the 'price of fish' JR ?   Tyler, I've always pondered whether, someone with a nasal impediment, such as a smack on the nose, would cause them to make Eaton sound like EDEN!

A little bit too near the knuckle there Campion. We must try and be civil when speaking about the family. Remember they lost people as well when the murders took place. Although having said that I am a bit dumb when trying to interpret some of the things you write as I am a plain blunt man. But it did look like an insult to me?

One questions Ann's parenting at times.
According to her she left her 11 year old son alone at home on the evening of the 9th august when she and Peter went to whf to get the keys and took a tour of the house. No mention of this boys younger sister and where she was!
But worse in my view...
On the 12th august , less than a week after the incident she has her (brownie age) daughter help her make the twins beds at whf.
I personally would not be happy taking a child of that age into a room to make up the beds two 6 year old boys were murdered in...let alone making up the beds .
That I find sick....there were adults present who could have helped Ann if she needed assistance.
