This morning I received this message from my friend who I only know through Simon McKay and reading his posts on twitter

From Anis Waiz
@oldlawyer1

To my wonderful kind friend

Michaelmas Term
A Revelation

And so it is over. This time I know  has gone.  The  Michaelmas term from the feast of Saint Michael the Archangel is soon to end. The  greatest of all the Archangels,  a protector against the dark of night, and honoured for defeating Lucifer .

From its commencement as the trees  were stripped bare  until  the day of shortening hours.  For now let the trumpets sound and music fill our ears.

And as the days shorten and we look to another term I reflect upon  the ticking hand that long  passage of time . The  Joys and sorrows bestowed . Above all I see the utter  kindness and  the hand of friendship of strangers.  In days of need when my table lay  bare you have  warmed my soul with the gift of humour, acceptance and above all humanity. I thank  you from the bottom of my heart.

At the feast I have nothing to offer  but  passion for law and music. That my blogs have been so well received is of utter sheer astonishment to me. Let me thank you.

I wish you and yours  a very happy Christmas and New Year.  May God bless you and your family .

From that great great nation.  Cha bhi suaimhneas aig eucoir, no seasamh aig droch-bheairt. Wrong cannot rest, nor ill deed stand.

And so I proffer to you the hand of great friendship and peace. From my Band and from the heart these  words

When we walk away from the storm’s roar
Then I will be afraid no more
And now I’m sure of where I stand
Let the strength of peace run through this land

A song from me to you and yours to warm your heart.

I don't think anyone has mentioned this, so I will.
Happy Christmas Jeremy. I truly hope this is the last Christmas that you spend in gaol.
After 26 years of wrongful imprisonment I suppose this time of year means nothing to you.
Please bear in mind that you have a lot of people who think you are not guilty.
You have kept your chin up for a lot of years now, so a few months more should be a breeze.
Remember who your true friends are Jeremy, and they are not necessarily the official site.
Good always overcomes evil.
Buddy/ Cliff.

You are welcome Keira it just goes to show amongst all the rubbish we read here and the awful greed of some people there are genuine people that you come across every single day.
Anis is always sending me nice little messages and I look forward to them everyday :)

My buddy Cliff you are so right good does overcome evil but sometimes takes a bit longer than you wished for

There are so many wonderful people on this forum and one day Jeremy will realise that too and we are all here if he needs us
