Reconstruction of how Ralph got scratched and gouged by Sheila

In my opinion, there is no doubt whatsoever that the scratch an gouge marks which were found upon Ralph Bambers right forearm, and the top part of Sheila Caffells right hand, were inflicted whilst Ralph was trying to wrestle the gun from the control and possession of Sheila, and that this struggle, took place inside the kitchen at whf, when Sheila was in the process of loading more bullets into the gun. Moreover, that Sheila had her back to Ralph, or was sideways on, when this struggle ensued...

In my minds eye, I can see Sheila standing at the kitchen worktop in the location where the loose bullets had been tipped out onto the kitchen worktop, when Ralph made a grab for Sheila's right hand from over her shoulder, and Sheila resisted by grabbing, and gouging Ralph's right forearm, at which time she lost one of her fingernails...

The presence of bloodied finger-marks on the edge of the kitchen worktop in that general area of the kitchen could be evidence which supports this scenario, as too could be the multiple spots of blood that were found on the floor directly in front of this general sort of area...

Sheila grabbed from behind

The injuries to the top part of Sheila's right hand are consistent with her having been grabbed from behind her, and could have been an attempt by Ralph to grasp or wrestle the gun from her possession, or her control, when she was attempting to load it with more bullets...

Injuries to Ralph caused when Sheila resisted the attack

It is believed that the injuries which Ralph sustained on his right forearm, were caused at the time he tried to wrestle the gun from Sheila (from behind) and Sheila made a grab at Ralph's right arm, with her left hand, and inflicted the scratches, and gouges, at that time - breaking a fingernail in the process...
