I remember when he coloured one side of his hair black and the other side white and he couldn't get the colour out.

yes i live in leeds grahame, saville was born in leeds, he lived in roundhay for years, he would have had a nice view from his flat, did you ever watch the louise theroux programme about jimmy saville?

Actually some of his family, sister i think, lives on the same estate as me.

Probably because Arthur C. Clarke was in Shri Lanka. I used to like his writings. Back in the 60's I thought he was years ahead of his time.
