Scipio  you have made some good points and I will be honest I had never thought it through properly especially about Sheila changing her clothes it would have been more convincing had she been wearing clothes that she was wearing during the shootings. whilst I do lean towards Jeremy's guilt I always accept I could be entirely wrong.  I have different thoughts on how the murders were carried out but I sometimes wonder if Jeremy totally brainwashed Sheila in to killing her parents  with his backing she then had a shower whilst he started to set the scene he then double crossed her and shot her twice and maybe he killed her boys.  This is the only explanation I can come up with to account for how clean Sheila was  this may account for how he passed the polygraph test because although he was responsible for their deaths he was not involved first hand other than Sheila and as I said I am not sure about the wee boys.  He then left through a window and went home to wait for the right moment to call the police.  Think Scipio is going to wrap me up and throw me away

You can't have been too confident in it if you expected it to be taken apart.  That right there is a signal you knew yourself it was flawed though you failed to analyze it in detail to figure out why it was flawed.

You don't really have to go back to the drawing board, it is obvious that if Jeremy killed one he killed all.

Hi Steph guess my theory is total rubbish but hey ho don't knock a trier Still cannot figure out how clean Sheila was had she committed the murders.  As far as polygraph testing I use to think they were very accurate but now I have doubts and think it is possible to know how to pass one.

Scipio I was not confident and really I was testing the theory whilst you were on the forum because I knew you if anyone could point out how ridiculous it sounded.  I always like to try and see it from both sides and I was trying to find a theory which would fit in with Sheila being so clean but I have to admit it was because she never used a rifle that night. Unless she murdered them all then showered and changed her clothes where were her blood stained clothes were they soaking in the buckets.  Had the silencer been used she would never have put it back in the cupboard and as Colin her ex said if she did take her own life she would have done it with her boys not her Mother.  It is becoming more and more difficult for me to doubt that Jeremy was the killer but as I said earlier I will always leave room in my mind that I could be wrong

The proof is from Jeremy himself. Who said he left WHF at around 10am. After supper. The Foakes's also heard him drive off.

Jeremy then said he rang the police from his cottage and then drove to WHF.

There is also proof that he had the opportunity to cycle to WHF. On the bike he had borrowed from June. Jeremy confirming this.

I don't think your theories are ridiculous Susan. It's clear you've given a lot of thought regarding them and have used evidence from the forum to support your theories. It is difficult to take the word of someone who has given their opinion but when you look at the complete picture, there are serious discrepancies in JB's statements and evidence given in court.

Here's another thing to think about - he's been in prison 30 years, I'd say that was plenty of time to have dissected the case papers line by line.. He's surrounded in prison by men who are criminally minded - Why then years and years later does he throw in a technicality?

If you believe Jeremy is guilty, just accept the common sense scenario.
