Well if Sheila didn't write them, the only other alternative is that JB wrote them and planted them, Jane, but to write such letters would indeed be a work of genius! half illegible and half extremely disturbed thoughts.

Well in fairness a farewell letter if it does exist is a farewell letter.

They certainly do exist, ILB! I'm surprised the CT haven't put them in the public domain for discussion!

If surfaced at the material time and they were produced in evidence a handwriting expert would have been called.

Yes that's true, ILB! But the trouble is they were written while Sheila was in a psychotic state so the letters don't match her normal writing as it were. I believe the CT have had advice from hand writing experts which were inconclusive.
But gee whizz, who else could have written such letters?
Nah, Sheila wrote them alright!

Cant see what harm it would do, Jonathan! Zoso and Dave said they were on the forum here at one time, but i'm not so sure they have been.
Either way, maybe the likes of ngb could get in touch with the CT and see if they agree to post them here?
After all, they were partly shown in the TV prog anyway!

Would have thought he may have wrote a suicide note.

Don't believe he would have been  aware of handwriting expertise at the time.

He could have forced Shelia to write one but maybe that's taking the ludicrous to the bizzaire.

But a staged suicide note from his perspective would have added weight

If you believe one officer who surfaced aftet 40 years. And believe the head of crime scenes would do that.

A blood smudge on paper dries quickly. Whoever opened and closed the bible did it quickly after the first smudge.

And more importantly in terms of CCRC/CoA they will say:

- they're undated and SC's mood was improved shortly before the events of 7th Aug evidenced by Len Foakes observing SC skipping down the lane with the twins.

- Jurors heard about SC's suicide ideation and mental illness but still found JB guilty.

Yes, good point, Rob,it was a farewell note, not an official questionnaire or such!
