Phillip is saying the blood and paint were on 2 different silencers. The police merged the results.

Thought they would use one silencer.

Phillip is saying the police withheld information at trial.

The defence can request what they want & did have over a year to prepare. They also had the best witness who can direct them to what to request - Jeremy.

The ex BT operator is saying -

Both Nevill and Jeremy spoke to West.

Both Nevill and Jeremy were put through to Bonnet.

He is saying Nevill called at 3 26am & Jeremy at 3 36am.

Jeremy at 3.36am increases the likelihood he phoned London first.

Im sure forum users are perfectly capable of making up their own minds but the running commentary is a nice touch.

There is also a 26 minute gap between Jeremy receiving a call from Nevill and him calling Chelmsford Police. Yellow Pages is not that complicated.

Wonder what was happening between Nevill ringing Jeremy and Chelmsford Police? Sixteen minutes is a long time if someone has gone crazy with a gun.

Will have to look at what the jury asked the judge.

Phillip is saying the judge said it was definately Sheila's blood in the silencer. Which is incorrect as there was a remote possibility of it being a mixture of June & Nevill's.

For me either is enough as it means it was used. Sheila would not have bothered putting it away.

The BT operative is suggesting -

Nevill phoned Jeremy. Around 3.10am.

Nevill phoned Chelmsford Police. At 3.26am.

It was a long call to the police from Nevill. The telephone operative is saying West spent several minutes trying to find out which local station to ring.

----------

So Nevill would still alive after 3.30am. Assume fully fit. Does not give Sheila much time.

Sheila's window is hours

You know this.

Theoretically.

The judge was harsh here in his directions in my opinion.

I have always agreed with the judge.

You know this.

Nevill still being alive at 3.48am would go to meet the police.

Started watching it.

Why did this genius put the silencer back ?

' he had a sea near him he could have thrown it in there "

Tend to agree.

'AI -

In 1985, taking videos of crime scenes was not standard protocol or common practice for UK police forces. Forensic and investigative teams relied heavily on still photography (using 35mm film), detailed sketches, and physical logbooks'.

--------

Not sure about Phillips claim that a video of the crime scene was taken  Before the photos. Or why EP would move items after the video and before the photos.

Phillip says the video has been destroyed. Mmmm.

The bible is ground 9 of the COA.

Again Jeremy was lucky this was looked at as it had not got through the CCRC.

The ground was that the jury did not know which page the bible had been left open at.

The COA did mention that the bible had been opened and closed while the blood was still wet.

There was nothing about the incriminating position of the bible, as Phillip said.

Sheila had no other injuries or blood on her hands. So not sure how blood could have got onto the bible.

The CT are saying the blood was still wet enough for the police to inflict the symmetrical marks when opening & closing it.
