What is incomprehensible about it?  The husband was suffering from depression and mental illness and murdered his wife and two children before taking his own life.  It is a repeat of what we have at WHF.

There's no evidence prior to the attack he had mental illness. He told his GP he didn't have suicidal ideation.

As for the White House Farm murders, for someone who claims to be far more forensically aware than the rest of us you do write some drivel. Sheila was suffering from schizophrenia and postpartum depression, the latter not considered by doctors to last longer than three years. She responded to treatment. You have never produced a forensic link to her as the perpetrator.

Re: Clonroche. I'm surprised you haven't accused Lorraine Flood of the murders. After all, trace of antidepressant medication was found in her system.

Mr Flood, a businessman and nephew of Wexford hurling star of the 1950s Tim Flood, was suffering from depression and anxiety and made several visits to the local health centre in the week before the deaths. Lorraine Flood, a former Rose of Tralee contestant and cousin of Ireland footballer Kevin Doyle, was on mild anti-depressants but was described as being "in good form".

Dr Kirrane asked Mr Flood if he had thought about harming himself. He said no. He asked if he had ever considered suicide.

“He said no, I would never do something like that.

If Mr Flood was not responsible for killing his wife and children before taking his own life who are you suggesting was?

I'm sure Mr. Flood was responsible. But there's no link to the White House Farm murders, however you, David1819 and ngb1066 wish it to be so.

Why are you bringing me into this?  I have never commented on that case.

I asked what was incomprehensible about it when it is clear Mr Flood was depressed and suffering mental illness and went on to kill his wife and children before taking his own life.  I then pointed out it was a repeat of WHF.  End of.

Well, I'm sorry if I caused offence. It was cambridgecutie's comment about there being a link, that being that a mentally ill person was responsible, as in the White House Farm murders. If Jeremy was not responsible for the latter it had to be Sheila.

In the sense that Jeremy Bamber has some form of mental affliction there's a link. End of.

But unlike SC there's no history of JB suffering any form of mental illness pre or post SC killing her parents and children before turning the rifle on herself.  Anyway this is the Flood thread.
