Things Jeremy should have done inside WHF
« on: April 07, 2026, 08:04:AM »
Should have shot Sheila without the silencer attached.

Should have shot Sheila once.

Should have cleaned the silencer.

Should have put it where he did put it - in the gun cupboard.

Should have rubbed Sheila's blood on her hands.

Should have rubbed Sheila's blood on her feet.

Should have shot Sheila in the twins room.

Should have rubbed bullets on Sheila's hands.

Should have rubbed bullet oil/wax on Sheila's nightdress.

Should have avoided touching Sheila's nightdress with a bloodied hand.

Should have avoided pulling Sheila's legs after she had been shot.

Should have fired a couple of shots to no one with Sheila's hands on the rifle. To get GSR on her.

Should have ripped her nightdress. To suggest a kitchen fight.

Should have damaged some finger nails.

Should have damaged some toe nails

Should have put Sheila's blood on the bible.

Should have left Nevill on the floor instead of put him on the coal scuttle.

Should have left Nevill on the floor and not burnt his back.

Should have shot Nevill first. Five times. Before June.

Should have kept the 4 fixed items around the kitchen window in place.

Should have put Nevill's blood on the phone off the hook.

Should have put some of Nevill's blood on Sheila.

Should have left the bedroom phone in the bedroom.

Jeremy thought rifle on Sheila, windows shut = case closed.

Insinuating Sheila for several hours and days gave him more confidence.

These things were not done for a variety of reasons -

Lack of information available. No internet.

Poor research effort.

Over confidence.

Bad luck.

No experience of being a criminal. Previously being in prison due to forensics may have taught him a few things.

Possibly regretted the overkill on Nevill. Even pre suspicion.

Forensics was in its infancy such as Dna, in 85. From memory Pitchfork was the first guy in the uk to come a cropper 88ish?

Doubtful Jeremy had even heard of terms of GSR, Backspatter et Al.

Fingerprints wouldn't have been an issue. He was there everyday.

If he had taken the silencer off before shooting Sheila, but not cleaned it, the relatives would have found a silencer with just paint inside.

It could be suggested the paint was aquired during the kitchen fight.  However the defence could claim it could have scratched the aga at any time.

Or maybe he just wasn't in the farm house that night, Adam? is that what has been going through your head?
Are you finally beginning to doubt JB's guilt, lad?

He had lots of chances with the silencer.

Take it off before shooting Sheila.

Clean it before putting it away.

Go back to WHF & clean it before the relatives went inside.

Chuckling to Julie behind closed doors only hours after the massacre. That's the kind of guy we're dealing with.

He could have disposed of the silencer. Apparently there were several so it would not be missed.

But really he just needed to put it back in it's box in the gun cupboard........after cleaning it!

He thought it was an 'open & shut' case.

But a mountain of things inside WHF went against him. Then you have all the things outside of WHF.

Could have just thrown it.

I wonder how things would have gone if Jeremy had never said that Neville phoned him. Would the staged scene by itself have been enough to persuade police other than Taff that it was murder/suicide?
