I think it is referred to as child sex abuse.

IH's past led to the Bichard inquiry:

Contrary to belief he did not use deception to get the school caretaker job.

Police failures allowed him to work in a school.

I read Holly Wells fathers book. Huntley actually approached him and rubbed him on the shoulder during the searches and told him " I didn't know it was your daughter I hope she turns up ok"

If you are into reading those sorts of book. I would recommend Dance with the Devil: A Memoir of Murder and Loss. It was also turned into a documentary film - Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father.

Seriously grim and evil. The documentary enough for me.  I wont be reading the book, which apparently goes into more details.

Krystal Candelario will be sleeping with one eye open during her 'life without parole' sentence.

Just as bad as Huntley in a different way. Suspect the leaving alone started with her first baby, who survived. Then she did the same with her second baby, who didn't.

Candelario looked very relaxed when giving her false narrative to the police. She was in a place she knew - her home. Probably thought once the police left that would be it. No one would think she would put her baby in danger.

Jeremy also seemed relaxed when talking to police outside WHF & at GH.

Huntley was ice cold He was very brazen.  He was attending press conferences police conferences etc.

Mingling with reporters, carrying on with his job, keeping cool with police etc.

As David points out it was only his shady past in his native Grimsby that proved his undoing.

He really was a cold evil bastard.
